I see many teams using the half shield strat now in EMEA and also in some NA matches

DRX focuses on mastering what exists than mastering new things because new maps can be countered easily as time passes so all the time will be wasted. Working on mastering old maps helps a lot because now they will have a meta that's adjusted and it increases the chances to win the map than gambling on new maps
