i want to see scream on lan but you're right. definitely m3c or maybe even oglu would be better lmao.

steel is part japanese? did not know that but i doubt he's getting dropped.

posted about 2 years ago

they started off so strong then got shit on

posted about 2 years ago

i think he meant how optic always gets 2nd place in na.

posted about 2 years ago

saying everyone expecting them to flunk out is a stretch but they exceeded expectations for me

posted about 2 years ago

nah it’s fine

posted about 2 years ago

group 2 would be a banger

posted about 2 years ago

my guesses would be team secret, mith, and boom. there is also still a chance that riot makes it 12 slots for apac.

posted about 2 years ago

i don't even think edg is that good. they got lucky that ons had a roster change.

posted about 2 years ago

i mean even with yacine bottom frag, guild still looked quite decent against navi.

posted about 2 years ago

context?

posted about 2 years ago

riot wants orgs that will invest a lot and stay financially well like 8 years down the line and the korean orgs fit that criteria well compared to others. performance doesn't matter for franchising. geng didn't make the final stage of na franchising but did for apac/kr so its likely they move.

posted about 2 years ago

drx and damwon are basically guaranteed. the third slot is going to either geng or t1 if riot does decide to give another slot.

the forced lan environment also prevented many people from competing. i remember hearing from some pros that the cost of transportation and other things made it not worth it.

posted about 2 years ago

i wish lakia stayed with nuturn. that transfer destroyed nuturn and a lot of the competitiveness.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah i don't think 4 slots for south america is that bad. emea only getting 3 slots is what makes a lot of people mad.

posted about 2 years ago

i want to see scream on lan again but I wouldn’t mind navi winning either.

posted about 2 years ago

i really don't know

posted about 2 years ago

oh i forgot about that

posted about 2 years ago

tbh korea will definitely prosper under franchising especially when a lot of korean players from na/japan will come back with the asian league being rumored to be held in seoul idk why you would think that.

posted about 2 years ago

fusion probably won't win but they should at least get a map. nip did not impress me at all.

posted about 2 years ago

lmao

posted about 2 years ago

why is no one mentioning shao

posted about 2 years ago

they still can.

posted about 2 years ago

nuturn

posted about 2 years ago

am i the only one that thought that both ons and maru would lose lol. okay maybe maru losing 0-2 was a shock but i still rated them lower. ons was unfortunate though because of the roster changes.

posted about 2 years ago

agreed.

posted about 2 years ago

japan is much better as a region but drx is still better than zeta.

posted about 2 years ago

sen consistently shit

posted about 2 years ago

i can assure you that 99% is because of the low interest from kr orgs and the lack of players.

posted about 2 years ago

i'm assuming this is to the other person lol

posted about 2 years ago

did you read? he could still play in champs if he gets better lol.

posted about 2 years ago

no because franchising is about the org, not performances.

posted about 2 years ago

prx are predictable

posted about 2 years ago

what is this based on? if it’s achievements, then kr should be higher than br and jp. if it’s the competitiveness of the region, then apac should be higher than latam.

posted about 2 years ago

latam and br should be above japan

posted about 2 years ago

the comp needs a sentinel though.

posted about 2 years ago

we’ll see.

posted about 2 years ago

every 2nd place team did terrible the next event.

posted about 2 years ago

2nd place curse is worse.

posted about 2 years ago

maybe. i do see prx winning icebox though because they started on attack.

posted about 2 years ago

you’re probably going to get downvoted by prx fans but you are right. prx are very predictable on defense when they push. that’s why they naturally lose to teams who play slow like drx and zeta.
