he coaches V1's GC team

posted about a year ago

deep down i hope they keep playing like this cause its so entertaining watching sideshow mald at them

posted about a year ago

its orgs fault for not listening to their players and not giving them a coach when they asked for one. Its a shame cause i think if they gave the old sen core of dapr, tenz and shahz an experienced coach and some time to work they would be a team to beat

posted about a year ago

texture looks much more comfortable on the duelist role then rossi for sure
at least they still have time to work on their mistakes and figure out roles for lcq

posted about a year ago

if sen wanted fast results, which it seems like they do considering that they dropped their coach after 3 games, they should have kept their core, gotten kaplan as a coach and a good controller and flex. They would have started practice earlier and they would have had a lot less to work on. As much as i find shahz annoying his mid rounding looked better then dephhs considering sen had no practice and basically no strats. They had no staff to help them which was probably why they took so long to adapt to the meta at the time. Players were not at fault for having a shitty org who wasnt supporting them at all. People saying otherwise have probably never watched a single sen game with their old roster or just have no understanding of the competitive side of valorant. You cant expect a team made of players from 3 completely different teams to give instant results after 3 months and only 3 matches.

put monyet on reyna and let him harm 🗿

posted about a year ago

its gonna take time and sen doesn't seem to be patient enough to give their staff enough time to work with their players and fix their mistakes, wont be surprised if they make another impulsive decision and bench someone instead of giving the team time to try and make it work

posted about a year ago

hard agree, i think things would be so much different for sen now if they just listened to and supported their players. If they got a experienced coach on time tenz probably wouldn't be struggling as much as he is now. I feel bad that we dont get so see them play together anymore cause they were such a fun team to watch even when they were losing.

posted about a year ago

if sen got a good coach on time and an actual smokes player instead of kanpeki who is an initiator and shroud who has no experience they could have qualified for masters at least. They needed someone to help fix their team culture, motivate them to practice and help with strats and comps. People with an actual brain know that its not teams fault for having basically no strats and adapting to the meta late when they had no help from the org in terms of staff. If igls can do everything by themselves why would orgs waist money on coaches. If sen wanted to get results quicker they should have kept their core players instead of getting 5 talented players from 3 different teams and then expect them to give instant results. As much as i find shaz annoying his midrounding looked better then dephh and he would have probably improved if they had an experienced coach to help

dude doesn't have anything better to do with his life, literally made his account this month just to argue on twitter, why even entertain him

i think most of the people on this site are new to the competitive side of valorant and havent seen how long it takes for teams to figure out their meta and get results. You cant just put 5 players together with different ideas of how the game is supposed to be played and expect them to mesh perfectly after 3 months and only 3 games. The comps and roles have probably been working well in scrims and thats why they are running them but you cant really know for sure until you play them in an actual match where you can see what needs to be changed or worked on. Marved is a good player but sen would be crazy to change their roster without giving them time at least till the end of playoffs to get comfortable with each other, fix their mistakes and figure out what works best for them as a team
i swear most people on this site cant be higher than gold with some of the takes ive been reading recently

posted about a year ago

unfortunately valorant viewers are too pee brained to realize that stats are not everything and that having poor stats doesnt mean they played bad and having good stats also doesnt always mean someone played well. they then put pressure on players to have better stats which then just leads to them playing as individuals instead of as a team
i honestly think some orgs would benefit by hiring a psychologist to help their players deal with stress and pressure

posted about a year ago

if they kicked dephh im just curious whos decision that is, no way an org would kick a player without a coach agreeing. If they did kick dephh as well and it was orgs decision over coaches then they are doomed unless sacy is secretly a fns level igl

posted about a year ago

honestly wild for them to do that after only 3 games where team looked better after every match. It took xset and sykko a year to get actual results and people expect a team with no core and different playstyles to figure out what works for them and build team chemistry in 3 months. They should have at least waited till playoffs to make that kind of a change

posted about a year ago

dephh did better this week but still struggled to adapt to what lev where doing. their ascent defence setup looked so weak, jett op anchor one site while they basically play retake on the other site is so weird. If you cant hold a site might as well fast rotate your jett so they at least have a chance to have some impact with the op instead of playing retake with it every round.

posted about a year ago

i agree but he should be asking for some of that util himself. If they keep putting him on entry that means that it probably works really well in scrims so nerves could be a part of him making questionable decisions but that shouldnt be an excuse. People have too high of expectations from a team with no real core to look like a title winning team after 3 months of prac, it takes time to build team chemistry and to figure out what works best for a team.

posted about a year ago

he looked scared to make a play probably cause of last weeks criticism for going overly aggressive and basically acting as a drone for sen, this week he looked uncomfortable af on entry and scared to make any play outside of sen set plays. If they are gonna put him on entry they should try to enable his aggressive playstyle with util cause he seems so out of comfort trying to play "proper" or they put him on an initiator where he can still play aggressive but doesnt have to be their entry.
edit. He definitely spiraled on pearl and started overheating a bit but on ascent he just looked scared to do anything.

posted about a year ago

tenz seems so uncomfortable on entry, he definitely has the skill to be a good entry cause of his aggressive playstyle but he has to find the balance between going aggressive and playing safe cause last week he was just peeking everything with no util and this week he just looked lost and scared to do anything (not counting sen set aggressive plays), it just seems like he is not playing the way he feels most comfortable with cause of what happened last week even tho his playstyle is best for entry they just needed better utility usage in their nrg match

benching dephh can either fuck or help sen, he has a lot of holes in his macro but who will igl for sen then? no one knows how good sacys igling is so it would be too big of a risk to bench dephh even tho he hasnt been the best igl so far but he seems to be improving at least

posted about a year ago

did drewspark say that in his discord or?

posted about a year ago

dont think sen would kick sykko for wanting to bench tenz cause tenz wasnt even supposed to be on the team, theres probably a disagreement between kaplan and sykko or as someone said sen wanted to bench dephh but sykko disagreed

posted about a year ago

must be inner conflicts, also sykko himself said that he was more of a mental coach then strat so it doesnt seem like a change thats gonna make much of a difference for sen, kaplan has been in all of sen scrim lobbies since the beginning so my guess is that kaplan comes up with most of their comps and strats with dephh
i dont know teams inner workings so im probably wrong with who does what

posted about a year ago

i get that they want to try out some of the other guys but why bench your best player? there must be an internal conflict cause it just doesnt make sense otherwise

posted about a year ago

their comp definitely fucked them but tenz just looks so lost on entry, like he turns his brain off the moment hes on site. He just doesnt know where to look first, doesnt pre aim any angles just swings and hopes that he can flick to wherever the enemy is. And when they get site he looks even more lost like he doesnt know what to hold. I feel like he would have done much better if he went a lil more aggressive (with util support of course) cause that seems so be what is comfortable for him. This is the only thing i feel like ranked would be helpful with in pro play, just practice your entry, cause players in ranked rarely play for retake so you'll get used to clearing common and rat angles .

posted about a year ago

he definitely looked lost on entry, like he doesn't even think where hes gonna look when he goes into site just aiming at nothing, but i dont think he played aggressive at all outside some set plays from sen, he just looked scared to do anything, he should have been a bit more aggressive with util support of course but he played super safe which seems to be outside his comfort zone cause hes always been a player to thrive in aggressive plays

posted about a year ago

-they are playing every round so slow, they take space and instantly give it up repeating the same thing every attack round which lev is expecting, so many missed opportunities both on ascent and pearl attack for some easy entries
-tenz is playing very scared on jett, he definitely had a problem with over aggression before but instead of finding a balance between aggressive and safe plays he keeps playing super passive and safe to the point where he doesn't go aggressive when he should be which is weird cause he usually thrives with aggressive plays
-so many obvious macro mistakes there no point in typing them

also why arent they abusing b site on pearl it works so well

posted about a year ago

people have a massive hate boner for the guy, never seen so many people wishing for someone to fail and celebrating when he doesnt do well
his fans can be annoying but at this point his haters are even worse, bunch of pathetic immature people praying on someones downfall. Just watch the game and enjoy, criticizing the way someone plays and their decision making is fine but hate is unnecessary. grow up

posted about a year ago

he is playing so scared on jett, i get that he needed to tone down his aggression and find a balance between aggressive and safe but it feels like he is playing too passive when he usually thrives with aggressive plays

posted about a year ago

if they dropped the op earlier they could have had a bigger lead, its just not working against lev

posted about a year ago

he got two kills felt bad and decided to give a free one to lev

think he played alright but why the fuck did nrg sign him to replace yay an oper if he cant op

lotus was alright they just had to drop the op after it wasn't working (unless jett has knives), they basically had -1 player for retakes
think they could have won lotus at least if tenz didnt push with no util but who knows

honestly a good deal for both yay and dsg, dsg gets content by having a star player on their team and yay gets to play maybe show some flexibility and stay in the spotlight

posted about a year ago

let them all igl and put dephh on reyna ez win for sen

posted about a year ago

he definitely doesnt look like he is in a right state of mind to compete, he was literally shaking during the match. Hopefully he can find a way to deal with his stress cause it seems like he really wants to compete and he has something to prove. If they end up subbing him i dont think it will work out well for them cause Zekken has a very mid jett and she seems to be the meta now ( could work against weaker teams but against teams like loud or lev its gonna be hard), at least his raze is really good so maybe they can make comps around that but its not gonna be easy for them anyway

posted about a year ago

his jett was mid at best unless he improved recently, no way it works against teams like loud or leviathan. at least his raze is really good so they can maybe work around it if the news is true

posted about a year ago

tenz probably thought that he can handle the stress also orgs shouldnt force a player to take a break unless they are constantly underperforming in matches and scrims (which from what ive heard he has been frying in scrims), sen hasnt had a reason to bench him yet. only reason i can see them benching him is if he doesnt performe next match which i guess we will wait and see

posted about a year ago

DSG gets content and yay gets to show people that he is still good, good for both parties tbh

posted about a year ago

his biggest problem even since his csgo days is folding under pressure, think he is definitely a good player and has a lot of potential but he got to learn how to deal with stress and stop shaking at every single lan or he is never gonna be consistent, feel bad for him but if ya cant handle the stress you shouldnt be playing

posted about a year ago

at least he is playing, would be risky sitting out the year especially after he didnt have the best performance at lock in, now he can hopefully show some flexibility which will increase his chances at getting signed to a t1 org next year

posted about a year ago

i would swap MM and SR, MM has been improving match by match so i think they will look better than SR at the end of split 2 even with vanity as their igl

posted about a year ago

he was shaking after their last match against tsm in tarik x ludwig too you could literally see it on the camera when he was drinking after the game ended, i feel bad for him but mans gotta find something thats gonna keep him calm or he is gonna keep being inconsistent

if you think sen had any strats in 2022 or even before that you werent watching their games, every single game of theirs i watched i was cringing from how bad their site executes and individual decisions were, 2022 was just the whole team falling apart i dont agree with people who think that it was only his teammates tenz definitely had a part in their downfall, but saying that he cant performe when he did last week is stupid
