or just the confidence of a 2x champ
the only april's fools joke is som retiring before reaching his full competetive potential
well i really hope you learned something
you cared enough to click on the thread
what is happening to vlr.
i am seeing japanese supporting LOUD and brazilians supporting NRG??
a weird timeline to live in
Boaster made a tier list in a podcast with yinsu on teams:
and he put every single team in the 1st category, "FNATIC would beat".

link to the podcast: https://youtu.be/RMH0ZvxpYts?si=eQ4rfDwy6E44j3i6&t=1334
more like the reykjavik rematch with both teams in their peak
i had some ideas like
but i dont think its as hype as the above two(i also didnt want to repeat teams here)
i was thinking of some of the best champions 2024 finals matchups possible. they can be either just a clout fest or hype in general.
i think i got some decent shouts
(personally i dont want inter-region finals matchup)
we honestly got one of the best "rookie" caster in form of pavlos. that guy has everything. a good voice, good knowledge and good delivery. sooner or later he'll get what he deserves
people often remember the most recent "best" line from them, but i still remember when pansy said "when you come for the king you best not miss" when sen lost to envy on split. thats my favourite
optimistic?
brother the real season is starting now. 2 maps this year dont mean nothing. boaster has made it to top 5 internationally everytime since 2021, if i still dont trust him and the systems he has built in fnatic, i will only be a fool.
or if they got that level of approval from the government itself, theyy wouldnt just put in a tweet about a medical condition. they can just say he got exempt coz of what he does
what has anything ever meant to c9 since 2021? another season of underwhelming performances!
ifs and buts
you believing in forsaken is fine, but doubting chronicle for what he did is not.
yes he wasnt the best at lockin, but other than that he has been the backbone of the team, be it fnatic at tokyo or gambit in 2022
coz chronicle plays in a traditional "team" and not a choatic group like prx. his duelist can actually play all duelists. his sentinel can actually play all sentinels and his smoker can actually play all smokes.
he doesnt need to flex in order to show kamisavitar that he is the best flex. he flexes when he needs to.
he played a trophy playing 5 different agents in 5 different maps in a LAN finals. tell me when forsaken does that
f0rsaken can even handle the duelist role
how about forsaken handles his way to a trophy
just for any chronicle doubters,
5 VCT qualifications
5x top 4
4 finals
3 trophies
1 MVP
When it comes to rating flex players, there is chronicle, there is daylight and then there are the rest.
the lowest place chronicle has ever finished at a lan is 4th. yes 4th. thats higher than what 95% VCT players ever achieve before they retire.
people like cryo kingg leaf etc, they get rated as one of the best in the world and still havent seen what top 4 looks like yet. chronicle is levels above.
sen vs kc
you literally talked about a game between the most popular emea team vs most popular americas team. thats not a good example for your argument.
also i dont want to really argue that much. to me what i said is an obvious conclusion. i will not force you to accpet it. you can have your opinion.
all good
No, if you look at the kickoff viewership, you can clearly see a large increase in every single regions viewership.
EMEA Pacific Americas all had significant growth, and not everyone had sen.
Also considering none of the events last year were in Europe, thus no tournament had good timezones when they were played.
Add all these factors and my argument sounds more strong
we are not talking about EG here. please.
talking about the same region which literally had kru win their lcq who eventually got battered by giants at champs?
if navi had a bit more luck on their side, things could've turned out a whole lot different at champs, but i digress , that was never my point.
emea was bad last year, but never as bad as people make it out to be. it was still at the same level as americas and a whole lot better than pacific
that has 0 impact on my argument.
going by this trend sentinels will have atleast 40 map losses this season, which is way more than fnatic would have had, even if they played in all 3 leagues in a single year at the same time.
he could do things no other controller can
the only time loud won was against a burnt out fnatic but who cares, we'll take beating fnatic over winning a trophy innit
fut also got 1
TURKEY: 2
NA: 1
TURKEY > NA confirmed
Will Asia become the best?
lmfaooooo
you made my day bro, you got some real good jokes man
loud got clapped in front of their home crowd by a team from a farm land far beyond the atlantic
(this is a fnatic appreciation thread and not a sentinels flame thread)
Sentinels after just the first international event of the year have lost 16 maps.
FNATIC the "entire" last year, lost 13 maps. yes 13, in the entire year!!
everyone had the same chances
what do you mean? like i get why sen deserve the win, and that is why i made this thread, but sen fans are getting stupid with comments like this when they are just not looking at the overall picture
while sen deserved the trophy completely you saying things like only deserving teams made there is a low shallow. get out of your bubble and try to be more open to differing opinions
the year when edg won worlds was 60 mil or something, we cant compare chinese viewership
just see the trend. masters shanghai will underperform in terms of stats no matter what time zone.
it may be true that madrid was super high because of sentinels, we also need to look at the fact that it was geng they were playing against, the least clouted team entering this event (bar fpx)
optimistically speaking loud sentinels fnatic prx, and if kc actually get good(international finals level good), they'll bring in more fans then we can imagine
none of it counts china. and if we count chinese viewership for lol, we need to compare it to superbowl and not other esports :)
yes, not every team may have the same type of situations when they enter an event, the format may not be the most optimal or the "form" of teams may not be there. but at the end of the day, we will never get to replay a event that is happening or has happened.
all we can and we should do is applaud the winner, and expect (if not already) to have your team win the next one.
no matter how good or bad you may think the team that won the recent event was, whether they played a micky mouse tournament or played a covid cup, whether it was a shit meta or burnt out teams, if it was really that easy to win an international event in valorant, PACIFIC would've atleast won a trophy or two by now....
we'll overtake csjoe by this year in terms of peak viewers ever.
lol is like 6 mil, so a long way to go, but hopefully in a similar length timeline as lol, we can be there
https://twitter.com/EsportsCharts/status/1772013675294949548
1.6 million peak viewers for the first event of the year!
(possibly going to be 1.7 mil by tomorrow after updated stats)
average viewership of 670k , which after considering this was the shortest event in a long time, still outperforms the rest, even champions!
Valorant is only growing, add chinese stats to this as well and we so up.
and the most important part of it is, valorant has consistently seen a rise of viewership since 2021, we always grow, no matter whether the most popular team plays or not, the growth may not always be significant, but its always there.
One day we will be in the same bracket as League of Legends!
this is some man city real madrid 3-5 level of throw
riot will add a "wildcard team" gimmick that event to somehow deny apac of any glory in valorant
