mindset of players need to change, it feels like they dont have the hunger to grind anymore, they are being paid decent salary and are satisfied with even if they perform bad, im not saying their salaries should be decreased but that job security which they have now is due to the hopes and dreams of countless supporters and it shouldn't be taken for granted, they should grind more and learn to accept their mistakes and yes even step down to give younger players a chance for the sake of the scene
well age does matter yes but there also have been many who defied the limits of their age to perform well, an example is rain from faze clan csgo, but yea other than few exceptions most players tend to lose their mechanical skills slowly after 25/26
