Did i just choose a team of pretty much all duelists? yes. Does it matter? no, and I'll get downvoted for this, but if you kill everyone in 1v1 duels you win, and these players simply have enough of a skill gap to the rest that this can work. With so many stars it's almost guaranteed that at least two are popping off at any given time.
If it's getting used a lot in the current meta, which it absolutely is (eco gun of choice), it doesn't need a buff

this is simply because there's a lot less top tier teams in Japan. Not saying the top tier teams are worse than those in NA or other regions, but there's a much bigger skill gap in JPN between the top few teams and rest
100T didn't get shit on, they were tired AF after playing SEN and lost a close match to NV, plus they have the best LAN experience of the NA top teams.
Not saying they deserved Iceland, they did lose after all, but I could see them being a good rep for NA if they'd qualified
it's because the system is fcked, it gives +50, 60, 70 for a "major" tournament like challengers finals but only +10, 20 for a "minor" one like challengers qualifiers... yes teams try harder at more important tournaments but it's not nearly such a big difference, 1.25 multiplier at most, not fcking 4x bigger rating change.
No one can if it's used well on it's best maps. Teams need to take more note of the 2.08 meta
especially now because the winner of the previous game has 15 minutes of rest between games. Playing for 2-3 hours straight, just to do it again against a team that's had time to rest isn't fair at all

Literally. People will say "oh it's just OXG" and that's true, but there's not a single team in the world that would've beaten what we just saw from Liquid.
ok this first map was insane. I do think TL is the world's best on Haven right now with this comp and the world needs to take notes ASAP.. viper on haven is not just useful but required at this point. TL is showing great form and, yes, OXG is a relatively weaker team compared to FNC, SEN, etc.. but I don't think there's any team in the world that would've beaten Liquid with the 13-0 execution on haven, it was a truly stellar performance.
