Nah i totally get what youre saying and its valid, but its also easier said than done when the game flashes in your face how good or bad your progression is going. Its like compulsively stepping on a scale to see your weight like 5 times a day. That's just not how real progress works.

Game sees you going even or negative more times than positive, so it thinks you shouldnt even be in ascendant 2.

Quite literally gotta start fragging and/or winning games more convincingly. That's how the system works unfortunately.

There's a lot of LFT discords and sites you can reach out and play ranked or even super casually. If not, play other fps games and give yourself a new challenge and get addicted to that.

Thing is, at some point you'll start playing for some kind of rank related reason because you can see your ranked progress after every game. You see it go up? You wanna keep going. You see it go down? You feel worse as your session goes on.

I wish it worked how CSGO ranked works (or used to work, i havent played in game ranked in years) where you dont really know your ranked progression, you just play and let the hidden MMR do its thing, and get rewarded with a rank up (or down) eventually.

Realizing that you should only soloq if youre truly obsessed with the grind is the move. If you dont enjoy ranked alone, you dont soloq. If you don't enjoy soloq and dont have any friends that play valo, you dont play ranked. You play swifts or the deatmatch modes, or dont play at all.

Gotta put real value in your time in general. Don't do things you don't actually enjoy.

In terms of raw skill, Leo is probably the best player the game will ever see, but it's looking like he's gonna be the R9 of Valorant.

In reality though, its between Aspas and Chronicle, and Aspas statistically is much better so he's leading that conversation and will for a while.
