But that "someone" else should have the power to beat DRX at this point. Let's see if On Sla2ers can have their revenge.

I agree. They need to change the system like NA or South Korea because it's fairer in my opinion. It feels like they're using randomizer to decide the LCQ bracket.

As per first map, both teams seemed like reading each other, no duelist at all with 2 initiators, 2 sentinels, and Viper. I personally thought thiefy was going to play Jett because his Jett is really strong but they gave him Viper. He wasn't bad physically but I feel like he didn't enjoy playing as Viper. I didn't really follow IGZ as a whole team but I think they need to make some arrangements to their team compositions except for Lakia as Sova and oitaN as Chamber.

I don't need to give much comment about CR but I thought they were gonna do neth Jett (again) but they went with no duelist at all. Well, at least there was a little expectation that Meiy would play Jett instead but he was assigned with Chamber. No comment since CR rosters play flex so yeah.

As per second map, I'm glad that neth as duelist, especially Raze, isn't so passive unlike when he was playing against Northeption in Haven and Ascent. And as you can see, thiefy pops off as Raze in this map so don't judge him by his first map as Viper because he's not a bad player at all.

And again, it feels like they're reading each other (again). 2 initiators, 2 controllers, and Raze.

I can't really assess based on their previous encounter so I might enjoy the tourney for now. CR 1-0 IGZ as per now.

OpTic and EG are top 2. I can't tell about the rest.

Yes, you're right. There are a lot of South Korean players who play for Japanese teams. I know both countries are geographically close (it takes an hour by airplane only) but both are having a different which is also a barrier. But you have to know that Korean players are willingly learning Japanese so they can interact with other players as well.

In South Korean scene, the competitiveness is really thick and most of them are looking for more opportunities in my opinion. I don't really think about economic stuff because I have no idea about it at all. In Japanese scene, the competitiveness isn't as toxic as the other regions because Japan's environment is really friendly. Maybe that's the very first reason why Korean players are comfortable playing in Japanese scene. You also can find that Korean players tend to stay in Japanese team, learn the language, and even move to Japan (I'm talking about Seoldam, he's resting from the competition right now but he moves to Japan recently). Talking about Valorant as well, Japanese supporters are insanely huge and supportive so perhaps it also affects their economics and stuffs as well.

These games were amazing and interesting.
I'm just looking forward to EG in the future because I feel like they have revealed all of their cards right now (cmiiw pls). And I won't forget to note OpTic since they always have their comebacks sassy and impactful.
Above all, GGWP for both teams!

Why didn't they put bdog on Chamber in Icebox? :")

I don't really understand why they put Neth as a duelist. I know he's physically strong (in-game) but I feel like he's not made for duelist role. They should put Neth as Killjoy and Meiy as the duelist.

Popogachi as Skye? It just didn't work. Just give him Sova and he will pop off but they made him taking Skye in Haven and Fade in Ascent.

In Haven, they also can put Rion as duelist (his Reyna is really strong), Meiy as Skye, Popogachi as Sova, Neth as Omen, and Astell as Killjoy. Or they can just put Meiy as the duelist and Rion as Skye.

I understand why Rion played as Cypher instead of Chamber in Breeze because they wanted Cypher's tripwires since Chamber only has one trademark now. It seemed working even though it was a tough run.

As for Ascent, similar to my commentary about Haven. They should have put Meiy as the duelist and Neth as the Killjoy. And I feel like, they should put Popogachi as Sova instead of Fade. I don't really know why but he seemed uncomfortable with Fade.

To summarize, I don't really know what CR is doing. Deep down inside, I thought they were trolling with these positions. It's so misplaced? And also, their calls were bad to be honest.

But overall, I hope they can review today's games, learn, and improve. CR, they're always strong in lower bracket.

You're actually reading them...

I usually see that people rely on Viper's curtain and smoke if you're going to attack on B.

I think it's a great idea but if there's no LAN tourney, the ping will be a big problem. Can't wait to see the new changes in 2023 tourney.

It's just my opinion, I'm not good at Valorant or anything but I think everyone also has said the same. Physically (in game), they're really good. But Valorant tourney isn't about deathmatch. I feel like they need to work on strats and how to execute them. Not every call in game is perfect but at least they can improve how to make calls in game well. Look at the past games, they even lost the round in 5v2 situation. What happened there?

But still, we need to see future games and hopefully we can see some improvements.

Overall, yes I think yay > TenZ if we talk in the context as a pro player who works within a team. It feels like yay knows what to do instead of TenZ. I'm not doubting their skills, of course both of them are capably superior enough. TenZ needs some arrangements so he can outperform his self right now. I'm looking forward to OpTic Gaming vs Sentinels in the future.

Both teams are using mirror team comp for this match so it was interesting to watch. On the first map, Breeze, it was a really close match in my opinion even though the score ended up as 13-9, a win for CR. For the second map, Split, I thought it would be close, but sadly DTN couldn't get a read from CR's strat at all.

I looked at DTN's history matches and they were using the same team comp. as well but the result wasn't good. They were beaten with 13-5. For CR, it was also not their first time since they used it before, even though it was far from the comp in stage 1.

I think DTN should change their team comp because I feel like the players felt uncomfortable using some agents.

They don't know how to differentiate between giving criticism and cyber-bullying which is tragic.

yo someone explain to me how they won iceland without dropping a map to getting dominated like what happened? Like wtf is this omg hahahahahaah

They won, that's a fact. But still SEN cannot deny the fact that other teams are improving within a year as well. They shouldn't stay the same (even though they did make a roster change from zombs to Kanpeki).

It was just his personal preference, don't worry.

Can't really judge for now but indeed they lost so hard today. I don't know their conditions but it feels like they were still haunted by Reykjavik thingy, especially neT for today. Looking forward to their next game.

Yes, he knows how to utilize Astra perfectly even though he said that he gets sick of Astra and prefers Omen. XD

That's why it was saddening to see. The comp can work but somehow they didn't make it work? It feels like they had some miss-communications such as when ShahZ was using his fault line but no one peeked, or when they combined Astra's gravity well plus Raze's paint shells but no one was there as well. It feels like they were doing things but they didn't know what they were doing at the same time. Just my opinion tho. :")

They're just casual hater. I get it that SEN didn't have good executions while facing LG this time which was saddening. Anyways, it's just the first match, SEN still has some chances and hopefully they can make it right. If not, I don't know what to say anymore.

Why are they playing Astra instead of brim in 2022? LG just smoked off generator and canteen and took site for free

In my opinion, I don't think it's about Astra or Brimstone because you can see from ZETA DIVISION in Masters, they always bring Astra in Fracture. I think it's all about how you use your utils. I believe you can pop off as that agent if you're comfortable with his/her utils. It's also the matter on how they make decisions on the spot.
