my parents chose not to have her spayed so she would have periods on the regular. My dog (10) just recently started to lose appetite, has trouble getting up, moving really slow, doesn't come to the front door when I arrive home, and became really weak. I've been telling my parents that this is an emergency and we should take her to the vet now but the closest appointment is 3 weeks away. I know that I shouldn't give up on my dog but I want to prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.
