You can never rely on Yay in postplants or clutches though, guy is the king of overpeeking. Looks like a god if he kills them which is why nobody says anything, but also sometimes just throws the round for no reason.
I don't want to be the guy to say it, but the fact that yay is so terrible in clutch/postplant situations is the reason I think marved is more important for OpTic than yay. Thoughts?
Overall I don't really think, at least for this qual, they really only improved marginally IMO. It all depend's on how Kanpeki looks against actual T1 competition right out the gate though

Honestly, he looks good when playing against T2-3, but I wouldn't set super high expectations for him right away. I think he can be a good player for sure. However, I don't think he's looked as insane as people in vlr make it seem.
