So bad if they are truly rolling it back.
Fnatic truly has to start playing Breeze, because not only is their Ascent pretty shit its also constantly getting picked by teams who are clearly better on this map... so slow, no confidence, getting shit on by lurkers, no clearing
They are getting caught by teams that don't play like EMEA
I just don't understand what you mean when League is already popular and successful in EU as well. And as I said Valorant is nowhere near as big as LoL is so comparing LoL events to Valorant is nonsense. Riot will always focus more on League than Valorant.
Unless you meant saying that Valorant has a lot of potential worldwide.
What you mean? Best production LoL event (Worlds 2019) was hosted in Europe. And Valorant isn't LoL.
Most likely. That is what I'm bit scared of tbh. My expectations for the crowd isn't high.
IMO FPX would have higher chances of beating PRX than Fnatic. They are heavy antistrat and play more unique stuff and flex around. Fnatic is more traditional team who is used to playing against slow teams in EMEA, so they aren't the best matchup. I still believe PRX would won, but I think FPX has highest chances out of EMEA teams. And even on Bind their KayO could be really effective against PRX's comp. Like I would take Fnatic against any team outside of PRX, but for PRX specifically I would personally take FPX. And this isn't cope opinion this has been my opinion since seeing PRX against Guild.
Their Yoru comp looked good when they played it in EMEA, but something went wrong against Guild. Feels like they were playing it really differently than before and their players were just getting shutdown by Sayf a lot tbh.
For sure. They are just going to get better the more they play with Suygetsu. They went against Guild with 1 day practice with Suygetsu and old comps after not doing so for like 4 weeks according to ANGE1.
Its just my prediction. No other game has reached similar status and spot like CSGO in esport outside of like LoL. So based on that its unlikely that Valorant will. Also looking at next year with franchising leagues and overall lack of international tournament it just feels rough. And for franchising leagues you need strong interest in majority of these regional leagues, but feels like the hype for these events has decreased and the viewership has been going downwards on some regions. Like think of LoL, LEC is big alone, LCS while kind of dying has still been big alone, there's a lot of interest and popularity in LCK (KR) alone. But what regional Valorant league can reach anything even close to that? Maybe NA and Japan and that's kind of it. Don't get me wrong though. I'm not saying Valorant esport is dying and I do believe it has its place and has a lot of potential in Asia especially, but overall I highly doubt it will ever take CSGO's spot as the goat of FPS esports.
Way better casters. Crowd that is usually amazing. Players more hype and iconic. Overall way more visible passion. Even chat is better. And overall it just feels much bigger than Valorant and that makes it more hype for me.
And for gameplay there is way more possibilities for different type of rounds slow and fast because there isn't barriers instead the game just starts and both sides can run and take map control instantly and because of that there's more action usually. And you don't have as much BS like ultis and stuff that can completely change the rounds.
I like to watch and follow Valorant esport more currently, but I don't think Valorant will ever be what CSGO is sadly. CSGO's culture and history is just something else. Its esport equivalent of football (soccer for NA people). You just can't beat the passion. And so far CSGO events >> Valorant events in almost every aspect.
Expected. PRX play so different compared to EMEA. So aggressive, confident and disrespectful.
TRUE I would say EMEA is -10 team region
FPX and Fnatic would both beat KRU or LEV. Unless this post means regionally not internationally.
Easy. Leviatan is not that good. DRX known chokers and matches up well for EMEA teams. OpTic matches up well for EMEA as well. PRX only that could cause problems because they play too different so its hard to play against.
How can you say that about LATAM while ignoring FPX?
Fnatic wins Leviatan, FPX wins DRX, PRX win OpTic, Fnatic wins FPX, Fnatic wins OpTic, final PRX vs Fnatic
Just listening to CSGO Cologne casting with Machine and Spunj is like different world. Such good and hype casters, while Valorant casting makes me sleep. Sad but facts. The difference is just massive.
Bit yes, but DRX is like NA or EMEA team playing same way with inconsistent players. That's why they will never win Master.
Look at this DRX. Their Chamber was useless. Their Raze can't entry. Relying on hero plays by Mako and Stax.
NA got so lucky with bracket. Fnatic would have won over DRX. Not only is it better matchup for western teams, but DRX liked to choke as well.
Yeah he had really bad individual game + some of his OP angles lost them the game
Korea bad non competitive region and they beat FPX playing new comp with sub
DRX can't play anything else than Fracture. RB so bad and inconsistent when he isn't playing Neon.
EMEA vs EMEA is best by far
So you are admitting that NA is bad region?
Not overrated, just lost too hard opponent. PRX just has everything to win games against anyone. Insane firepower with unique super aggressive gameplay that will be so different for anyone who isn't scrimming against PRX regularly.
True... they are just not used to this type of gameplay.
People overreacting. Even OpTic would have a lot of troubles going against team like PRX who play completely different style than what they're used to.
They were good at adapting, but just feels like Fnatic had it but threw couple rounds.
If only they didn't lose that 4v1 and Derke didn't miss all those shots... and also Fnatic looked so unaware during some rounds. Like not expected mindfreak to push through smoke like yes no one would push in EMEA, but its fucking PRX you have to be more aware. They caught these EMEA teams off guard so many times.
Enzo has had pretty bad game. Feel like he might not be good LAN player. Online his aim is so crisp, but LAN he is so shaky.
such bad round from Fnatic... first Boaster doesn't react where the shots are coming from. Then Mistic peaks for some reason even though he could have just played time and then Enzo doing something and not expecting
There's no way they let them on stage if rest of the team has caught covid no? Haven't they been practicing in same rooms -f0rsaken?
Poetic.
The moment Guild got eliminated, XSET's fate was sealed.
Yeah that round overall was one clusterfuck. Maybe XSET didn't realize they had the spike? I'm not sure.
Feels like weak map pool is problem for Leviatan. They got rolled by DRX outside of Ascent. Or they almost made a comeback it wasn't looking good overall.
Usually their Yoru Breeze comp looks good when they played it in EMEA, but playing bad right now. While Guild prep really good.
