Yeah but there isn't ocean close so it gets colder. If I'm not wrong even south of Finland is northern that good amount of Canada, but our tempatures get effected by gulf stream so it isn't as cold

You are just basing this on name value. NA ascension is going to be good because ex "tier 1" players, but its still overrated. People rate them high because they used to play in VCTs but forget that for most part NA has been just 1 or 2 team region while rest were struggling. So you having players from teams like V1 or LG playing in tier 2 now doesn't mean they will be amazing tier 2 players.

Yeah sad because Cloud is insane. Really good on his main role (initiator) but can also flex to entry raze or kayo or whatever you need from him. He is like Shao Jr. If he gets comfortable on Giants (looked bit uncomfortable in G loot) he will def be player people are going to talk about after this season.

True, but that is the case with most esports. Only that felt like Valorant off-season in terms of signings was really short.

Leo is one of the best initiators in the world no question. He has been best or 2nd best in EMEA for long time and did well in Copenhagen as well only choking last game.

If you say anything else you are underrating Leo like crazy. He is one of the best players in EMEA and top 2 if not the best initiator here. Ask any pro, coach, talent etc. Also EMEA as a whole has been the best region internationally and being the most competitive regionally so you can def rate EMEA players well based on regional success.

posted about a year ago

Guild placed 1st in their group and then got eliminated by both PRX and FPX aka the finalists. And they had Russ on their roster who had the lowerst ACS of any player in that tourney. Obviously Leo didn't carry because it was good performance from all Sayf, Trexx and Leo and Koldamenta wasn't doing bad for IGL. But Guild did well in Copenhagen and could have fought for higher places if they got the chance.

I'm not huge fan of the artstyle either, but it kinda suits the game and it should run decently on most PCs. Also I think the agents are really fun in this game. Every agent is really viable on most ranks and has their unique styles. Also if you play with other people you can do cool comps like go full defense with 3 defense champs and just hold a building or go full aggro mode with different comp. They add fun abilities and styles while not taking away from the gunplay.

Vitality and Giants

people are sleeping on these squads. Vitality makes sense because more unknown players, but people still put no respect on Molsi's or Twisten's name and even ceNder was/is really overlooked when talking about tier 2 talent.

and its crazy to me that people don't talk about Giants much at all while having players like nukkye, Cloud and hoody. That trio is really good and even proven on paper and add Fit1nho and Rhyme who have a lot of potential and this roster is really good on paper IMO. Cloud is one of the most slept on players in EMEA.

You pay taxes for being part of church. Its like 1-2% I don't really know because I left before I paid anything. Based on calculation if you make 28k a year(default number) you pay total of 360€ to church in year. It isn't that much for working person, but I'm not going to pay anything because I don't use church services.

posted about a year ago

Yeah its bit weird. Like I would have had no problem staying in church's books because it doesn't affect your life at all and good amount of people here don't actually believe in anything even if they haven't left church yet. But having to pay church taxes just made me leave. It isn't much but still.

posted about a year ago

Atheist, born to protestant church(?) like majority of people here, but official left church the moment I turned 18. Parents aren't religious either. Didn't want to pay church tax and no other reason to stay in church either. I have never believed in it.

I mean i didnt read every tweet and working with what translator says. And there's definitely a lot of racism in there, but some of the tweets just seemed to mention that he is black but not in racist way so I figured out that maybe its more common there to mention skin color looking at videos and shows etc. But yes I believe that there's a lot of racism there as well and its sad.

posted about a year ago

I don't know because I don't live there, but isn't it more common for some South American countries to call people by their skin color? Words like gringo seem to be really common when talking about white people and even in Narcos(i know just series about 90's lol) there's black guy whose nickname comes from his skin color. So maybe calling people by their skin color is just more common there and that seems to be the case because no one here says "hey white" or "hey black" while is seems to be common in SA with words like gringo. But I could be wrong and obviously some of them have racist intentions.

also like guy above said this ne... word means black color in Spanish

yes that is true, but I meant that in like 10 years or even less people are likely calling him goat just like Messi Ronaldo debate currently if everything goes well. Not saying that he will be the goat, but people will def debate about it and many kids will be seeing him as "the goat" esp when Messi etc are out of picture. Ofc its too early to say.

ofc no question about it, or maybe wont overtake Messi but will be goat of future gen

OWWC being back is really nice, but sadly most teams will suck ass. Overwatch was dead for so long that many pro players and especially tier 2 have already retired so a lot of these teams have to look for players outside of even tier 2 to fill up their rosters. Only teams like Korea, USA and China can pretty much make good rosters with UK, maybe France, Saudi Arabia etc having ok teams. For example at peak Finland used to have what like 10 pro players in OWL, but nowadays we have 0. Unlucky really. Its just so dead in many places and OWL like always is just filled with Korean pros and even Americans nowadays because the tier 2 scene there is bit healthier and they get signed to tier 1 because no VISA/relocation issues. Compared to EU where tier 2 is so shit like in many other regions. Still going to be interesting to see, but it won't be as good or competitive as it was in the past.

Yes unfortunately there are like 4 teams that likely will be pretty shit, but I still think they will be competitive enough to push the level of play forward. Heretic's problem is that they have really inconsistent players, but if they got more consistent they would be decent.

I just think that historically the top of EMEA has just been consistent enough to stay on top while rest of the teams weren't bad but just couldn't overtake them. While for example in NA every team outside of OpTic (later maybe stage 1 The Guard, XSET and 100T towards LCQ) were beating each other all the time due to long preparation times and lack of consistency. It made NA look more competitive in eyes of many because "oh NRG look good", but next week "oh 100T look insane because they beat NRG who looked good last week" while in reality it just showed inconsistencies within the teams instead of all of them being insane if you know what I mean.

Like I truly think "weaker "EMEA teams like NaVi, G2 even OGLU, BBL etc could have been competitive in NA especially outside like OpTic and The Guard, XSET at times and 100T during LCQ. But people don't give credit because the top of EMEA placements didn't change as much and the same teams were consistently placing top 3.

posted about a year ago

Americas will likely have the tightest competition within the region like they have always had due to teams being so inconsistent regionally, but I think EMEA will produce more international LAN contender ready teams. But for example NA teams are made from ex-more consistent NA team players so maybe they won't be as inconsistent.

posted about a year ago

EMEA, so far EMEA has been the strongest and more competitive region more consistently.

I think people have started to forget this due to Champions. Before that NA was pretty much 1 team region with OpTic carrying them and the gap between them and rest of NA was noticable especially on international tournaments. Also we don't know how these teams are going to perform next year. You can stack good players together but that doesn't mean anything if they can't make the team work. This goes for teams like Sentinels and C9 especially. Also LOUD split and even though I think they are still going to be good they won't be same as the Champions LOUD. Leviatan is already good and will likely get better, but I think its still hard to predict that can they keep up. Outside of 100T, NRG, SEN, C9, LOUD and LEV I don't see other American teams worth mentioning. But who knows.

Pacific was just DRX, PRX and Zeta pretty much. Rest of the teams were always pretty mediocre and even though they have some potentially good teams I doubt they will reach same heights as these for some time at least. Maybe Talon, GenG, T1 can do something but doubt they will do that well.

While EMEA has the big 3 teams aka NaVi, Fnatic and TL that in my opinion are some of the best teams on paper and these teams or players have shown that they can be some of the best. Ofc same as with NA teams we don't know will they work as team, but historically EMEA teams have performed better and there isn't as many inconsistencies as NA. And then you have KOI, VIT and GIA with some good players and potential. And overall I'm just basing this on previous events. EMEA teams let it be Liquid during Iceland 22, Guild during Copenhagen, G2 during Berlin 21, Fnatic during Champions 21 always do well despite people underrating them and expecting worse levels. The competition in EMEA has always just been so high that even the slightly weaker ones would have been decently competitive in international tourneys or in other regions.

Just my opinion and it isnt based on straight facts but more like prediction and historic evidence. Also based on cultural differences and history in other esports. Americas is likely more stacked on paper for now, but I still think EMEA will produce higher levels on more consistent sense. EMEA = Americas > Pacific.

Yeah it was good, just wish they would add more depth to humans and their motivations because right now the humans are just pure evil. It kinda makes sense because its from Na'vi's POV, but wish they showed more of why Earth is dying and why these humans are like how they are, because in a way they do bad stuff to guarantee future for humans. Also there were couple of scenes and characters with their decision making that had some problems with them or were just odd. Also in one scene pretty much 90% of characters just disappear if you know what I mean.

But overall visually its a masterpiece and even though the story was simple it is still entertaining and people give it too much shit while most blockbuster movies have shit and simple stories as well. Also the characters were pretty interesting and its going to be interesting to follow their journeys moving forward.

Problem with that sub is that its really NA biased and filled with 100T and SEN fans especially. And it has good amount of people who are just really "normie" and don't know much what they talk about or the scene outside of NA, or just super delusional fans of certain team. But overall people bait way less and there are also some good users there who actually know what they are talking about. Overall its less toxic and has less baiting but also has many clueless people.

Yeah I heard that during Sliggy's co-stream if I'm not wrong. But yeah its weird. He is good player, but his teams always suck. I guess Turkey just doesn't have many good or even decent IGLs. Should just do cNeds and join English speaking team, but now he has perma spot in franchise league so why not just stay there. Big problem for Turkish scene in the future I feel like.

posted about a year ago

They have Monsteerr so that is good piece to build around especially with sentinel changes even though I feel bad for him because he def deserved a franchising spot. But I could imagine them being decent spender in EMEA tier 2 so they could build decent roster I think. Just not sure how attractive the org is for players seeing how they seem to ask big buyouts, but for players who know they likely won't get picked by tier 1 orgs anytime soon it might be good option.

Yeah going to be interesting to see what their plans with Wolfen are. He is main OP player, but also plays sentinels mainly and bit of initiators. We will see is KOI planning on keeping it that way or possibly even make him a duelist Jett player. They don't really have a Jett main in this team outside of maybe Trexx but even he isn't truly a Jett/OP player. Trexx can play sentinels as well so maybe Wolfen could practice Jett.

Can look beautiful and cozy, also brings brightness to otherwise dark days. When its dark from 4PM to 10AM almost every day snow adds a lot of shine. But snow = cold and cold sucks ass also snow can be annoying because it can get to shoes etc also once snow starts to melt and it becames this mixture of snow, ice and water its so shit when your shoes are wet 24/7 when outside and it sucks. Also ice sucks. Overall I would say that I only want snow during Christmas days and New Year eve but outside of that I'm fine without it. But as I said snow brings a lot of brightness so everything looks nicer than grey and rain otherwise. Snow > rain tho.
