honestly i dont know the new format yet but from the matches that i've watched. my opinion is i think it will be hard for oce to compete or showing a great play in ascension.
if i were to list down the power in each region:

  1. Thailand
  2. Korea
  3. Indonesia
  4. Philliphine
  5. Japan
  6. OCE
  7. SG MY
  8. Taiwan
  9. India

thailand's t2 scene is in their peakest form comparing to other SEA team and i dont think they will be losing to OCE :/

Shanghai was lit. Like, the crowd noise was insane! Paper Rex, these guys from APAC who nobody expected much from and always the choker in the grand finals, were facing the Valorant KINGS, Leviatan, in the freakin' grand finals after aspas dropping 40 bombs in the semi finals. Nuts, right?

Jinggg, that Raze demon, was bouncing grenades like a pro juggler, each explosion sending enemy shrapnel flying. His purple blue jerseys practically glowed under the lights as he rocketed around the map. Forsaken, the flex king, was a mystery box of awesome. One round he'd be spraying with a Phantom, the next he'd be healing everyone with Sage like a gaming grandma. You never knew what he'd pull out next, which kept Leviatan on their toes.

Then there's mindfreak, the king of clutch. Dude's got ice in his veins. Last round, with the score tied and the bomb planted, this Leviatan guy pops out of smoke. Everyone thought it was over, but then mindfreak, cool as a cucumber, pops out with his Vandal and bam! One headshot, bomb defused, crowd goes wild. Talk about pressure!

D4v4i, the chill uncle of the team, kept everyone alive with his Sage plays. He wasn't flashy, but trust me, you gotta have that reliable teammate who patches you up when things get messy. And "something," their new Jett player! Dude was a beast. Flying around with his knife, sniping fools with the Operator – he fit right in with this crazy bunch.

The final map was breeze. Paper Rex came out swinging, Jinggg's grenades raining chaos, Forsaken confusing everyone, mindfreak clutching like a boss. d4v4i kept them patched up, and SOMETHING was a one-man wrecking crew. Last round, it was a nail-biter. Leviatan fought hard, but Paper Rex just wouldn't give up. With the bomb planted and seconds ticking, d4v4i throws a clutch heal, mindfreak gets the final kill, and the bomb explodes just as the timer hits zero.

The crowd went ape! Paper Rex, the underdogs and the chokers, had just dethroned the kings and become Masters Shanghai champions! Jinggg was bawling with joy, Forsaken was hype, mindfreak even cracked a smile, d4v4i got a big hug, and "something" let out a victory roar.

Paper Rex, the APAC crew nobody expected, had done it. They were the new kings of Valorant, and the world knew their names. From the 4 times grandfinalist yet cant touch the trophy to champions – this was a story for the ages!
