"if you miss the shot"... how often is that likely to happen - im asc2 and i miss op shots so rarely, it's definitely worth doing it. Do I get punished if I miss the shot? yes, of course. the tp isn't for you to get out easily if you whiff, it's to help you reposition after getting a pick. this sounds like an average gold take, ur never gonna climb if you try to think about every possible situation that could occur in the game

vipers pit is so easy to counter though, just running in with a shorty works about 70% of the time, especially if you have recon utility
Another piece of advice - switching between teamplay and lurk play is very helpful in my experience. You can start with lurk, get a pick (or info) and tp back to your team, or help your team enter site and switch to a lurk after you get the bomb down. I've found this playstyle to be super broken, since the enemy is always subconsciously worried about the lurk threat, ur basically in their head rent free
Oping on defense with yoru is basically equivalent to holding both sites.

it's not 2 shocks - they reduced the time it takes for shocks to activate and also increased the damage, so definitely a buff
also how is the mosh pit a nerf - it covers the same area as before and now does 10 damage per second

How so? Practicing 12 hours a day is not tiring according to you? How about you go through pro vods for 12 hours a day for a week and make playbooks based on their strats, execute them in game, evaluate and then iterate on them? This is just copying existing strats btw, so imagine coming up with your own and doing the same process.
Would you classify a software developer who is completely WFH 8 hours a day and asking for a vacation as "giving too much credit"?
The players are constantly in between scrims and tournaments for at least 8-10 hours/day. It's the equivalent of someone in immo3 grinding their ass off in ranked by spamming games (but likely even more stressful). From what I heard, boaster and mimi spend like 12 hours a day coming up with strats and stuff (and they still get anti-stratted as seen against LOUD, so clearly even that isn't enough). I'm pretty sure that chronicle isn't demanding a shorter VCT season - he's just asking for a more evenly spread off-season compared to 7 straight months of tournaments followed by 5 months of off time.
Even during off-season they will be scrimming, since its the only real time they have to actually spend time and come up with innovative strats and test them out thoroughly. It's funny when people say "oh theyre just playing a game" - bro they're playing it for money and it's a real job (it's like claiming youtubers don't deserve vacations cuz oh, they're just making videos). Sure it's not a physically tiring job, but its stressful asf.
