Their coach Sleepy works wondrous man. Old AE used to be somewhat comprised of unproven and washed CS players, yet at the end they finished 3rd in SEA. I will not be surprised, if given time, this new roster will have the same results.

Most people rely on aim rather than comms. Because most of the time the language barrier is too much. I met a wonderful Vietnamese player who added me and my trio, yet we couldn’t speak to each other because of the language barrier. Thats why even lower golds have insane aim but shitty strats. Executes are pretty much nonexistent, and people stacks up round in defending side for almost every map.

Not disrespecting SA region. But wouldn’t it be better if they join a regional VCT like SEA for example. The whole reason GE is doing this good is because they knew the only way to qualify to a major (in this case Champions), is to fight their way through the APAC LCQ. If they decide to just skip over regional VCT and straight to a major this would mean that there would be less competition especially where the only dominant force in SA is only VLT and GE itself. It would be like Japan 2.0 where CR and Zeta is dominating , where in theory they are really good but since the lack of competition in VCT itself they fell easily in international competition.

I was thinking on the line of EU teams, they would only be qualifying with EU or straight to EMEA rather than each country (UK, Sweden, Germany, etc) but then again regional pride is still pretty much present in SEA. I think i really missed that part lmao

But EU is somewhat comparable to SEA so i guess that should work our, right? Like EU in EMEA and SEA in APAC?

If LAN is permitted, wouldn’t it be better to have APAC as a single region? I mean its now apparent that its somewhat like SEA=KR=JP=SA based on LCQ. The VCT stage would be like SEA, KR, JP, and SA each having 3 teams to compete for 2-3 slots to a masters event. Probably even including OCE teams here. Would this actually grow the scene in the minor region of APAC or not?

For people saying its 5 vs 30 ping. The Indonesian players (f0rsaken, and mindfreak) also gets between 25-40 pings in SG and they are not at their bootcamp.

DWG map 1 was painful to watch. Its like that they are completely lost. I 100% think that its due to them playing online for the first time in a VCT event.

Jinggg is now the first duelist of PRX. Used to be from team SMG but the rest of team SMG is subpar at best. If you want to ask about how good is PRX with jinggg currently you could check the last map on KJC invitational. That should give a great impression on how PRX will probably play.

Compared with F0rsaken, i think F0rsaken is still better mechanically, but hes much more versatile also. So with the departure of shiba, the initiator role will be filled by both F0rsaken and d4v41.

I actually think that the KR teams will be massively overrated in LCQ. Since most of them plays in a LAN environment, i think this will be a disadvantage for them. You can definitely see how they were not shooting sometime in map 1. Not undermining GE, they did really good. But damwon had a massive bruh moment the entire map 1.

But the thing is that its first hand experience. They had scrims against Nuturn and said that they have lost abit of that Lakia magic, so in turn it might mean that hyeoni is not giving a bigger challenge as if it was Nuturn with Lakia. But then again, we just have to wait and see

Other than the entertaining chat. Onic G might just take the title of best Indonesian team, ahead of AE’s absence. Just really have to see the 7 roster Boom still tho

i recommend this one aswell, its on the heavier side, the braided cable will worn off eventually aswell. But mine last 6 years now, would buy the wireless one if mine breaks
