During Champs and the whole zombs incident, I was playing ranked and I send on /all "fuck zombs and fuck sentinels" and everyone on the game knew who was Zombs and sentinels.
When there is a game going on and I'm playing ranked, I always try to talk with my team mates if they're watching too and good chunk is.
I think it is mostly because a good chunk of the most famous streamers either are pro players or are involved with the pro scene in some sort of way (watch parties, attending to the official casting crew)
I think every Russian has travel restrictions by now so this move is more of a PR move than anything, since the russians would either probably not be able to attend or demand a huge ammount of resources.
