posted about 2 years ago

wtf is this "vision" of the team they keep talking about?

first Bonecold left due to it, now zeek

it must be a shit vision if that is true, those were their 2 best players except cned

posted about 2 years ago

cold take: 1 of either drx, optic, loud or fpx gets GROUPED

zeek is not a real igl and scream, jamppi are better igls anyway

ok i can see your points and understand. when i think of mechanics i mainly thinking of combinations of button presses, how fast they can be pressed (yes i did overlooked that with 200-300 BPM) and your coordination with it all. and aim mechanics is self explanatory. timing itself isnt a mechanic but combined with button presses it can be, it is about precision. osu only has 2 buttons so thats why i see it as mainly timing but yes that can be mechanical. glad we came to an agreement.

posted about 2 years ago

i mean, do you play it? and whats your rank? the way you talk is like people who say non-pros cant have an opinion on the pro scene

-> claims i am oblivious to other osu mechanics without stating other osu mechanics

Being able to hit 200bpm deathstreams is a mechanical skill, reading AR 11 and low AR EZ-mod maps is a skill. That are things you have to practice to get good at it.

i know you are trying to make it sound complex, but this is literally a timing skill, are you for real rn?

Btw reaching 100k in Gridshot is super easy compared to be able to hit 300bpm deathstreams, your comparison makes you oblivious about other in-game mechanics.

again timing and claiming there are other mechanics without providing any evidence. youre not real

" Timing" is a skill in osu! - It is a lot more than that, it is technique, stamina, reading, aim control and finger control which are all mechanical skill you have to put thousands of hours in to get a good lvl in that game.

bunch of incoherent jargon tbh

i am only saying osu isnt the hardest game mechanically. it is hard absolutely a hard game but not the most mechanical. but you simply dont use your keyboard as much as games like starcraft, fortnite or gunz and it isnt as hard to aim as quake, fortnite, cs. i'll use your own argument against you since you like it so much. youve never played any of these games to a high level

posted about 2 years ago

Loud is undisputed 1st

acend is top 5 if cned and zeek gets back into form

posted about 2 years ago

i have played it

"being able to tap keys fast and accurate" is literally a timing skill. as for aiming we'll use a benchmark and that will be getting 100k gridshot in aimlab which many people strive for. anyone who gets 100k gridshot has enough aim to do the highest level osu maps, the hardest part for them is the timing. for games that actually require high level aim (not osu), games like quake, cs, fortnite at the highest level, 100k gridshot player will not be able to do that as easily. new records are set in almost every game all the time, dont you know this?..

your comment is a whole lot of incoherent rambling

posted about 2 years ago

not even talking about valulrant lol

posted about 2 years ago

its not

its 99% about timing tbh, it doesnt require high level aim or keyboard mechanics, u literally only press 2 buttons

posted about 2 years ago

quake (aim)
gunz (aim + keyboard)
starcraft (keyboard)

trash

posted about 2 years ago

they still on the level of drx imo

if drx fixes their mental and doesnt choke then maybe i would even favor drx over prx

posted about 2 years ago

do people seriously think paper rex can win the event over loud, optic, fnatic?

favorites: fnatic, optic, loud
dark horse: fpx, xset, prx, drx
underdogs: guild, xerxxia, nth, nip/levi

what does XSET got against asia? LMFAOOO

i think V1 were on a honeymoon / hotstreak

C9 downfall is understandable because they actually lost a player and coach, they will be back to top team at LCQ instead of losing to tier2 teams

yay and derke are very close, the slightly higher rating and that derke plays raze pushed me to give it to derke but now that i think about it yay was more consistent and won Masters so it could go either way

posted about 2 years ago

it is a hot take i agree but it is just my opinion, i value consistency a lot. your opinion is respectable too. as for LANs i feel like we will really start to see difference between online vs lan players with crowd. at the moment players/teams tend to only underperform on their first LAN, after that it if they do underperform it is usually due to other factors rather than the LAN itself

Leo has been consistently a top player in emea and the best on Guild for the longest time and form is only a small factor i thought i would mention it due to everyone in this community being very reactionary
