I didn't say he was bad, I said wait until the end of the game. I know scoreboard isn't the only thing that matters, as long as he was doing his job entrying and making space idgaf. I guess me saying he bot fragged was misunderstood. I know Saya is fckn cracked and a great player.

I mean, they started on the defense side and the map was haven, it's very likely he just didn't see the opposing team in time to kill them lmao.

yeah, at the beginning it was like, "Okay, just a couple of bad games." And then it just kept going. Last game he played he was double negative lmao.

I love Sayaplayer, but it's map one and he bottom fragged (on Jett). Wait until they win to say it.

posted about 2 years ago

Cool, but I doubt they'll be better than the previous iterations. Top 20 at best.

posted about 2 years ago

well, that's even worse lmao, look at his match history with the Guard. Being a duelist that can't frag would be even more detrimental.

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly. Not bad, not good enough.

I'm pretty sure he was consistently at the bottom of the leaderboard every match they played. Now obviously kills aren't everything, but Sova/Skye is a super important role, and losing a majority of your duels is not good for an initiator. Maybe his util usage and game sense were amazing, but it wasn't good enough to make up for his lack of mechanical skill in comparison to everyone else on the server.

Still, I'm spitballing, I rarely got the opportunity to watch Guard play. Maybe Psalm's style just didn't fit with the rest of the team and that was why, or maybe it was an internal error.

(also, it doesn't matter if he wasn't that bad. Guard wants to be top tier, they can't afford okay or not bad, they need good, solid, amazing players.)

T1 should absolutely be playing official matches before they compete in the ones that actually matter, especially with their new roster.

I could see it going either way tbh.

that's true, I didn't think of that. I'll edit it rn. I wouldn't say SEA is nowhere near NA, but yeah NA is better.

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA is first as of now.

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA
NA
SEA
BR
LATAM
KR
JP

(based on region as a whole, not just their best team or champs teams, I'll prob change this list in the future, I didn't put much thought into it)

posted about 2 years ago

C9
Envy
Sen
100T
XSET
GenG
V1
AKREW
TSM (assuming rossy is good)
T1

Akrew could be higher but they need to prove themselves against tier-one opponents. Actually, the list as a whole could easily change depending on roster updates and future performances.

(might edit in future since I put this together in 2 seconds)

maybe they deserve two, but that isn't purely why they got two.

ayyy we love more Lakia gameplay. Hopefully, DRX VS actually gets competition this year, and Korea as a region makes progress.

Is it really about deserving slots? If it was purely performance Japan wouldn't have any. I doubt NA 'deserving' two slots is the reason why they have two slots.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, I completely agree. Maybe it's not because I don't know a lot about bdog, but I don't think he and Mada are upgrades to YBD and Aproto. They're solid, but they won't push the team to top tier. And yeah, EG will be better but not enough to make it to the international stage.

Where do you think they'll go (assuming EG gets YBD and Aproto). I doubt they'll be top five but I think EG will be significantly stronger.

I was more so talking about the word 'several' meaning seven. Even though I know several doesn't mean exactly seven. It was a shitty joke lmao. Still, I agree Curry is meh, pwny is uncertain, and seven is young. It's more like 'a few' rather than 'several'.

we're happy for region growth and exciting new teams to add to the competition, stop the overhype, it's so stupid lmfao.

yep, that's true. It's still more likely he joins Faze than SoaR though.

I like Shahzam (as a personality and as a pro), I'm just concerned about the amount he streams. But it's not like me whining about it is going to change anything, he can do what he wants, he's an adult. Whatever happens, will happen and that's just how it'll be. Maybe I'm wrong and Sentinels will win Champs this year, or maybe they'll never regain their former glory and will only fall further/stagnate, either way, there's no point in letting it ruin my own mood about the matter. I'm not going to go out of my way to hate on Sen (that's toxic and wastes my own time and energy, it literally has no effect on anyone but myself lmfao), if I disagree with them and no longer find myself supporting them I'll just find a different team to support. That's how life is, change happens, life happens, it's not the end of the world. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, ima just do my thing and do it the best I can.

(I never watched CSGO, I'm new to esports)

also this quickly devolved from an appreciation thread to a rant threat lol.

They care so they can use it against them and bring them down because of it. They aren't crying, a lot are actually happy for the ammunition. The more sentinels show that they don't practice, the more vlr can use it to attack them. Tho there are a few concerned individuals, like me, but this concern is very quickly diminishing, I'm more apathetic now. What happens will happen, no excuses.
