that same playstyle won them the series against PRX tho
That’s literally his playstyle, when it works everyone praises him, when it doesn’t, everyone clowns on him. But its his playstyle nonetheless
Gen G won the fk/fd battle 61 to 38.
Important takeaway is that DRX came away from this match knowing exactly what they need to improve on as a team.
They did well and ended only having a -4 round differential despite the match ending 1-3
Also, this might be cope, but all 5 Gen G players were won today, hopefully, just maybe, it could have been different if one of them had an off day. That’s the case about half the time in gen g games but they win anyways since the others would just carry.
way less than 24 hours. Doubt they even scrimmed
idk, limited preparation(?)
We just came off a series against PRX, didn’t have much time.
His util is fine, all that is needed is confidence and that will only increase in time
Honestly, we could all point at round 12 as the reason DRX lost, but Gen G are known for those moments. We should lowkey focus on the fact DRX lost double pistol and double bonus
bro, the game has evolved, this current gen g would beat any team in 2022 easily. Even sliggy said that watching China gives him flashbacks of vct 2022.
Not a good stat
In valorant, a clutch is a 1v2+and most of DRX’s clutches if not all were very winnable, you just had to hit ur shots which they can do, however, so many rounds, 2 or 3 gen g players get out of impossible situations
Gen G is a pretty solid icebox team. They dominated PRX on it. But hopefully DRX picked it for a good reason.
This is literally what Gen G do, they are all clutch masters, every time.
that must be 4 clutches by gen g right. Everything is so close
Watch the korean stream if you want to hear more crowd noise. I like the crowd but i also don’t understand what the casters are saying so i don’t watch it much
Gen G are so good under pressure man… anyways let’s keep going
Usually i would post more in games but im so nervous rn.
I felt like that half should have been more dominant for us, and 8-4 or more, but ig gen g did win pistol so we did well to bring it back.
What i will say is i really hope we win pistol, that would give me hope of winning the match
the molly missed.
They was supposed to be a molly on bomb, but it either missed or got body blocked or sum
he went from duelist to flex to initiator in the span of 6 months.
I really don’t know, bc Leo is deadass the best initiator in the world imo, and Fnatic are playing well with hiro, but who knows if this resurgence is bc of hiro, or just Fnatic finally locking in and getting it right
I saw a tweet saying their gonna have a kpop group at champs, and the tweet banged so maybe??
I forgot the group name tho
i think they can atleast dominate pacific. IMO when all the teams play to their best or their normal. Korea maybe has 3 out of the top 4 teams and definitely 3/6
they should be, also vitality should be same tier or higher than Heretics. It’s not even the fact that Vitality beat them twice. It’s the fact that Heretics got destroyed on sunset, which was supposed to be their best map. They also got destroyed on lotus, to a team that isn’t that good on lotus. Unless they were completely tanking, i’m not seeing a single elite map in their pool
I may be completely off but I think each region might be completely even. China and pacific are still growing, while americas and EMEA seems to be a plateau. Each region
Both Americas and EMEA are quite capable and good at fps games.
China completely dominates another fps game, maybe if crossfire dies in china, all of their pros will transfer over to val(?)
Korea not so much in fps but it looks like they are gonna be really good in val.
Other countries in APAC don’t really give me much hope when it comes to young talent but there is a possibility that other they steadily grow to become a strong force
The thing is about Gen G, is that they don’t really innovate when it comes to strats. It their in-game adaptations and aim diffing that makes them dominant. Pretty much like Fnatic last year, they find what works and abuse it until they can’t anymore, only difference is, Gen G has a fragging igl so thats 1 more person to really worry about
Lock/in Chronicle was important to his team. 1.12 rating with 203 acs is elite despite you judgement of the conpetition.
Also, an important thing to consider was how easily sacy was replaced. You can def argue that individuallly Cauanzin was better by far in 2023 and played like their 3rd best player. Not saying that tuyz was bad, but had LOUD kept Pancada, 2023 would probably look a lot different
he’s isn’t “lacking” they are close in a achievements but chronicle didn’t really have a bad year. You could say 2022 was a bad year but his team had a few non-valorant issues. Also chronicle has a tournament MVP which sacy lacks. His stats are also miles better
chronicle has more longevity tho, might seem odd to say considering sacy won a masters this year and chronicle didn’t but i feel it’s long gone the day where sacy can take over maps consistently with both fragging and utility, while i believe chroncle has been doing that since 2021
2022 there was. reverse sweep in the GC Champions grand final. Most dominant reverse sweep 2. Let up 10 rounds in the last 3 maps combined
these guys will never be enough huh.
Last time it was foxy9 but since foxy played well it’s BeYn now
WHAT DID I TELL YOU ALLLLL????????
up until this year both of them mained duelist, so they aren’t yet completely comfortable on the new roles yet, but as I always say when it comes to DRX, give them time
idk why it submitted twice??????????
up until this year both of them mained duelist, so they aren’t yet completely comfortable on the new roles yet, but as I always say when it comes to DRX, give them time
No matter what i love this team sooo much.. They guys are literally perfect in every way. Youngest team in valorant. So much potential, i see the potential, not just this year, but for years to come
the thing is, in that situation it would be perfect since the other 2 PRX player were swung out wide from yellow. So i understand your point, but in that situation it was perfect
this may be hindsight but flashback should’ve tucked into the corners. Even if someone was holding corner from main, flashback couldn’t killed planter and the rest could run since there would be no time left
DRX start very well, other team calls a timeout, prolly tells them to play more aggressive, other team immediately wins 3+ rounds in a row and ties or even leads at half. Happened in gen g game too
yes, we ended up winning the round comfortably but, what annoyed me was that they left a site completely empty, free for any PRX player to push up and catch a timing yet they walk up to ropes with knives out. Luckily BuZz was reacted fast enough and jumped but that could have easily gotten us ecoed
why are we never prepared for those situations???
