No you don’t want the best teams “at the moment” to go to Berlin, if it was like that all of champion’s teams would be decided by a tournament just before it. What they want are the teams that have shown the most consistency and have stayed at the top the whole way through. The biggest improvement teams show is right before champions so you’re always looking for the ones with the best work ethic and with the best showings at adapting and improving
With that said Yeah I’ll admit that I don’t have a solution for how it should be done on 1 slot regions, but as I said the ideal format was NA’s since one team gets a spot for being the best at the end and the other for being the best overall
