EG picking up icy was an extremely safe pickup for them when it came to replacing jawgemo since icy was part of G2 instead of picking up a guy like Okeanos who was trialing for EG as well. Now we see Okeanos shine at LEV being a player who can practically play any role given to him outside of duelist.
It feels like they are just scouting rejects from other tier 1 teams instead of looking for the next Demon1 in the tier 3 NA scene, there are players out there like sonofcar and notexxd who would probably fry in trials if given the chance but ig EG aren't that ambitious anymore
