Paper Rex fans love these players so much, any new player like Monyet will get so much hate when they underperform.

This team just seems fundamentally flawed from the start. Say you want to make a roster change. Who would you drop? What role would they take? Would they be an upgrade? Most people wouldn't even think about changing this team, and that's part of the problem. Same team, expect the same international placements. They're going to be either first or second in the Pacific, then other teams will eventually eliminate them. How about the coaching? Who would replace alecks? Is there even a proper way to coach whatever these guys do? Coaching can only do so much, but at the end of the day the players execute, and their own confidence gets ahead of them. Would you even want to risk changing this roster? They have been able to make so many international events because the Pacific teams can't reach the level of play they have, and their popularity, entertainment, and international placements gets them enough money to keep their operations going. Why change what's working?

I fucking hate the thought of Paper Rex bringing home the trophy for APAC. You bet your ass I was smiling when 100 Thieves eliminated them. They do not deserve that trophy, and better teams will absolutely win it first. You live by the whimsy, you DIE by the whimsy.

Cringe? Nah, it's very entertaining. Is it enough to get them a trophy? Absolutely not. They've come close about two times already, but they just fall flat against better teams (EMEA FPX, EG) and teams that know how to counter their playstyle (SEN, TS). If you are a Paper Rex fan, don't expect trophies from this team anytime soon. The players are cracked as hell, but it seems they're pretty content on making international events and getting paid for placing 4th to 2nd place.

They are on fraud watch, until they can get to Champs 2024 they are frauds. All of them.

I can't be the only one seeing this right? Start of 2024, Sentinels won Americas Kickoff and wins Madrid, then 100 Thieves wins Split 1 and looks so good on their first match. They have a good chance of winning this whole thing.

What is the common denominator? Both teams have players with Filipino blood. The zekken and cryo masterclass is amazing to watch for both their teams, imagine if they'd have stuck together.

In summary, Filipinos are the greatest gamers in the entire world. No, that doesn't include Team Secret.

I understand your sadness, man. I was a fan of Evan and what he brought to the team. So far, one of the weirdest decisions this team has made. But I hope he can find success in any future teams he coaches. I will be supporting dummy as well though, he might just be what this team needs to make it into the international stage.

It was sad to see Warbirds go, but you can only take a team so far. Placing 5th to 6th is probably the highest the previous iteration of Secret could go. It's time to see if these changes will work.

What's the point if he's not going to be leading the team? And did they really have to let Warbirds go? Couldn't he have stayed throughout the end of the split as an assistant coach role?
