Yep, it was crazy to me that a recent match in finals with prime Zywoo and S1mple only got 10k viewers on french stream. Meanwhile, a match in French LoL league (level below LEC) was getting 200k. If Riot does the same thing as they did in LoL and develop national scenes, they can reach so much higher than CSGO ever did.

Yea I agree with you, that's why I'm saying that people from Eurocentric perspective may disagree with you. It might eventually surpass CSGO in Europe as well, but it will take a lot more time because you need to develop all the national scenes first to truly unlock European scene.

You might get downvotes on this, but really depends on what area are you talking about. In Europe it won't surpass CSGO this year, but in North America it already has.

Globally, I don't think it's wild to see it surpass CSGO this year, I fully expect Champions tournament to have over 1 million peak viewers.
