True I forgot about them. I guess it's rlly just Brazil
Haven't been watching too much this split. Outside of lev, the other three south american have combined for one win and a round differential of like -120. A year ago, it seemed like these teams were looking good and starting to come into their own. What in the world is going on?
Tbf, I can't think of any issues during kickoff
America's only cuz idk enough about other regions worst players
Duelist: cryo (idek if he's still considered duelist)
Initiator: vanity
Smokes: liazzi
Sentinel: net?
Flex: idk hard to say
the sen effect
agreed. it looked like they had no energy after losing the pistol
win or lose, def the goat. criminal this guy was in tier two last year
now that drx are dead, there's finally a chance for new teams to win something. only a matter of time
they are damn good too. we blessed to have them
how many maps was the previous record?
this is a banger game bro. win win too. korea first win or sen return of the champs
Tell me you haven't watched sens matches the last few months without telling me you have
Wait why was this not a BO5???
Great format!
Bros had this ready to go for weeks, waiting for this moment
C9 gotta be the most troll org just for the fact that they brought back the guy that they dropped not even a year ago
teams in bad form does not mean its a bad tournament. that's normal stuff that happens in sports
What was wrong with Tokyo?
Ya I don't get it. The reason these orga are in t2 is cuz they were seen as not stable enough to make franchising. So conceivably, the guard situation is something that could happen regularly. And instead of solving the problem, riot is just saying fuck you to everyone
This is embarrassing from riot. Like yes this is the guards fault but not promoting anyone???? This literally invalidates the entirety of last season in t2
We can only hope and pray that riot comes up with a better solution then no one getting the spot
Yes but they need to get the players in. otherwise, the whole of t2 is useless
I don't want them to make it 2nd hand. But if they were to make every agent as powerful as someone like jett, then we would be playing overwatch. This game is combo of cs and overwatch, and nurfing characters like her make the game more true to itself
the higher the placement the better blud
this isnt the right approach, because then the game becomes a clusters fuck of utility. if everyone is overpowered, it's not fun
as a fellow american, we don't claim them
Naw 100t lost to a team that looked horrible and was playing with a coach
Very big W. They're toning down the ability use to make this game more playable. Such a massive W
Bad take tbh. Neon worked for them because they innovated with it, people didn't know how to place against it. Now, they do. They know the stuns and lineups, vic even did in an interview that it got much much harder to play. Simply saying it one us games once it will them again, is just wrong
I think you're right about all this but I still think it needs to be sustainable in order for talent to come up and rise into franchising. That's kinda why I have higher standards for it. If it was an open circuit, I would not care
I agree, but they need to making living playing in t2 cuz there is only one time a year for franchise teams to make roster changes. Yay ( I don't want to discuss whether or not he deserves franchising) is a good example. He got locked out of franchising and literally could not join another team. He could've had to leave val cuz he wasn't getting a livable wage. This, talent will leave the game. This is like kinda a problem with franchising in general I believe.
lmaooooooo. And balla said on platcast how much he hates watch parties cuz it takes away from his work. My brother, we watch the watch parties so don't gotta listen to you lmaooo
I mean Japan had worse watch times for both EU and NA, and this wasn't a problem
I mean all of NA, SA, and EU couldn't watch Japan either and this wasn't much of a problem
Yes it should be a stepping stone. The problem is that they look at it in an unsustainable way imo. Players can't justify playing in the league cuz they might not be able to pay their bills. So val loses talent
This isn't it. Tier 2 cannot be seen has a simply a "way point to t1" cuz that means it's not sustainable for teams and players. If it's not sustainable, teams and players will not want to play and invest. Meaning that t2 can't act as a "way point".
Also, there's only going to be one point each year where players can possibly get promoted. So talent might leave if they don't get promoted one of 5 NA teams (sorry for NA bias) cuz they can't pay their bills. I'm sorry but this makes no sense to me.
This Leo guy seems a bit disconnected.
