True, but them and PRX have a couple of things in common. Wanna know what those are?
glad i'm not the only one that thinks this. clean and precise gameplay is what i find interesting in a team tbh
I work full time overnight and go to school during the day so i just don't remember what its like to sleep
I know the common consensus for PRX is that they're "fun to watch" but can someone tell me what's been fun about watching PRX this year? the wacky wild gimmick seems very counterable now
yeah you're right i mixed them up with fnatic who also didnt get grouped so idk why i mixed them all up
Yes 2023 EG who was 2nd place at Tokyo truly were Cinderellas going into champions? LMAO
It's been 3 group stage matches all tournament how the fuck do you guys draw conclusions so fast
Just going off of european logic Americas still is the best region because we've won 2 of the last 3 tournaments
tbf european FPX won a master then got grouped the tournament after
You can't underestimate G2, but at the same time you can't Count out PRX. It'll be a good match but i think G2 takes it
To be fair i do see you provoke a lot of arguments with NA fans intentionally
That's comforting to hear, I'm planning on traveling soon because i've been really wanting to experience more of the world. Always that fear of going to another country and not being welcomed though
I don't know much about current Argentina, only their history. Don't know if theres still people there that don't like black people being there
Fair point, but i also don't think there's been an international event in the last 2-3 years that PRX haven't been to, yet they and G2's trophy cases remain the same size
This^ Correct me if i'm wrong but most people who actually watch the game have known Keznit was insane since 2021, he of course wasn't talked about as much because KRU's performance was slipping but i've never seen him as underrated
Yeah the point was moreso that if KRU, G2 and LEV were all so close and KRU is preforming this well we may be able to expect good results from LEV and G2
The top 3 in Americas are all looking pretty strong. between G2, LEV and KRU those 3 were having wars with each other during Americas top 4
I am genuinely curious on what makes PRX fans so confident they can beat G2? G2 have shown much better form throughout this year than PRX
Replying to yourself to keep the thread relevant is a bad look brother
KRU was the 4th best Americas team last year in the last 2 months of the season, i'm speaking of the year in general not just small portion of it. Also i saw keznit's name pop up a lot but could've just been my personal circles. I haven't been on the forum a ton
Thats not true? He's always been praised as one of the best duelist in americas, he was just really inconsistent and kru was bad last year
I'm gonna need you to take a seat for when i tell you what SA and LATAM stand for
Yet he and Jinggg have the same amount of international championships, shut up mutt
True but my point is that the team that wins the tournament before champs always start the tournament dominant and burn out eventually. It's possible gen.g don't, but i have a feeling they will
if you think this is bad wait until you see what its like being a TL fan in CS
I've been hearing about eras after every team wins the tournament before champions and hit the ground running, never have i seen them live up to it though
It really doesn't look like sen know what they're doing, i'm not sure why they've been tripping over their own feet so much but i hope they find form soon. They're making the "madrid was a flop" people feel validated asf rn
I'm not saying you in specific but i'm seeing people giving john alot of shit now, don't get me wrong he's having a bad map but now suddenly he's not a T1 IGL (again not quoting you in specific)
recency bias is so funny in this community, you guys will go from praising/liking a player to dissing him in the span of a few rounds
If Jinggg was good enough, PRX wouldn't lose lower final?
god this "atleast PRX are fun to watch" gimmick is so tired, they have had one of if not the longest lasting core in franchise and are still incapable of winning championships. Give it a rest
anyway good luck handling the PRX choke this year
I am moreso shocked at all the controller and IGL outrage, i understand SEN won a title but they have not individually been the best in those roles since march
Today has been a sad day for me, for years i've covered my ears and hid my head when people have said SEN fans are the most retarded in valorant. But after seeing today's reactions to the YEARLY INDIVIDUAL Americas awards i realize that i was the retard all along for giving them the benefit of the doubt
OXG has been the Achilles heel of MxS for 2 years straight now its tragic
call me overconfident but i dont think we have much to worry about anyway. I think NA T2 is pretty fucking insane right now, especially considering our ascension team is literally going to champions right now, our teams will stomp damn near every other T2 pretty easily i think. Hoping MXS gets the spot
Yeah i fear they'll still freeze up against the big teams like they did before, but who knows. Valyn is a great IGL and he along with the rest of the core have been able to adapt to several different climates and still thrive
Old reliable G203, they're like 30 dollars and perform super well
Yeah my fault mixed up the tournaments, ty for the correction
At this point wtf do these guys have to do to not get shit from the community? Grinded out of ascension, made Shanghai, ended 3rd place ITW, Go back home and domestically win every game. They've done everything short of just winning a LAN outright yet i see them get more hate than some other teams i won't name who've been in T1 for much longer with the same or less achievements
i do think its fair to point out that boaster has also always had an extremely strong roster of veterans while valyn and the rest of TGRD core were new comers
I'm a little late because i haven't been able to watch games for the last few weeks and result pages alone don't tell the full story. But are the best core rosters of 2022 officially dead? I see Navi, NRG and Loud didn't make champs again. Only team qualifying from that years top 4 being DRX who has a near entire new roster. I haven't been able to see the start of a lot of esports so seeing the old big cores fade out like this makes me a bit sad
Yeah not entirely sure why G2 is still so heavily underrated. They went into last tournament as one of 2 ascension teams to make it and ended 3rd. Since then they haven't lost a match regionally, not sure what else they could do right now to change peoples opinions
fair enough i'll let you talk your shit but lets not act like it hasn't been a year since an EMEA team lifted a trophy
