yeah their players look good on paper, must be something we dont know about that is affecting their performance.
now this is something i can get behind
both sides need a change of scenary, 100T need a new raze/flex and Asuna needs a new team.
they need a better flex raze, there is going to be an inevitable NA N4RRATE bidding war. 100T got enough money to win that
He just isnt a great flex, he puts up much better numbers on raze. N4RRATE on this team next year would be an insane upgrade
even with a loss here, they are playing at such a high level despite all the issues they had. respect to the players and coaches.
They should’ve gone for Fennel’s roster instead
Hard to say, pacific is packed with cracked duelists
Vlr has had issues sometimes with the game info, id believe what it says on the stream
Agree with you, but on the bright side you are not DFM
not trash but jetlagged and out of practice for much more than a couple of days
the reaction is because it is expected for them to be dominant regionally but now I guess they are third behind KC and TH. Theyll likely take that third slot for shanghai and get to champs but I dont see them as winners this season
if you cant beat LOUD, who struggled with visa issues and couldnt prac well, with all that time to practice and rest due to not qualifying then the team might be cooked
they are guaranteed the points spot which doesnt populate till the end of the quals, its (almost) impossible for them not to get the point spot
i think they have good vibes thats not their issue. chronicle was laughing it up before map 2 started
idk what happened to him, he looked fine at red bull,
The Lotus one is the same one as last year but many good lotus teams still play them (SEN/KC). It’s good to see that they are better coordinated than on Icebox. Looks like they’ve added some layers compared to Kick Off
They faced two top 3 teams. I’m happy for them because most teams would kick themselves and have lower morale. With all the roster problems and limited practice because of MiniBoo’s exam schedule and the visa issues with Wo0t, most people would have just taken the loss but they came swinging
It’s fine to be confident in yourself and your team but it’s really disappointing when he says stuff like that and they show up in mid form and with cookie cutter ideas
the expectations came from scrims M80 and G2 (guard at the time) were frying. Very underwhelming start considering it was a core that had made it to an international tourney and was scrimming top teams all year
yeah thats strange would love to know why he is their best player
Hoping flashback is ok and hopefully he will be back soon
Woah there bro, we are one tourney in not the time to talk about a potential 3 peat
Can’t wait to see how their maps improve. I want to see them play their innovative Sunset comp that SEN copied against SEN again.
I mean its expected for everyone who wasnt in madrid to improve. Add teams like NRG, LEV as teams to watch out for
he would have said no, even if the offer was for both him and s0m
My grandpa is mr riot ill make sure to let him know. great job mr HackNaija
honestly they havent been tested yet so I wouldnt come to any conclusions yet until they play MxS or OxG
real answer: shoot heads and pray to a higher power
T1 looks like a lock for at least qualifying for champs Saya not leaving
I mean no if you watched any of the analysis content guys, I forget which one was saying pre map on the day that he hopes they go with double Odin. It was either sliggy or tmv. If they can come up with it, other coaches can
That’s true if you read my messages in this thread you would know I never said full anti strat. Teams continue to win on their good maps because they fix their problems and create new setups. Anti strat is only a problem if you have blind confidence in a comp like Loud did on Ascent against EG causing them to not plan as much to counter potential anti strating like the double Odin or if you have shown everything you can think of like SEN did which caused the loses on Split against PRX and GenG
The only way I see SEN replacing Sacy it would be if he retires or if the team struggles for the rest of the year
im thinking if Sacy retires: current SEN team with N4RRATE as the initiator would be insane
AMERICAS: SEN, LOUD, & LEV
EMEA: FNC, KC, & NAVI/TH (TH if MiniBoo's break to take exams for Stage 1 is just a week)
APAC: GENG, PRX, & T1
CN: EDG, FPX, & JDG
Just because a tournament is less forgiving to teams doesnt mean its a lesser tournament. They never stumbled so they were deserving winners.
considering the EG situation, potter may be available. Potter + a team build around FNS and s0m could be insane
I mean EG killed their ascent comp and so have others. Saadack did amazing to anti strat EGs Sunset and their Icebox using the tape from EGs group games. The argument is that its a battle of preparation and if there is a lot of tape and the team doesnt keep coming up with new ideas they put themselves at a disadvantage. This is the issue FNC had where they have been doing the same boring stuff from last year and they got stomped by a well prepared team
they said many times that if one of them got an offer seperately where they felt it was a competitive team they would have split up. I would imagine offers from mid NA teams doesnt move the needle for them to not play together. I can imagine a scenario where next offseason a team builds around them with the best available free agents
I think this year has helped him rise up again but Chronicle and his 3 trophies makes him be the goat for now. This trophy has definitely elevated TenZ a lot
On paper the expectation is that any tournament they are a part of they are at least top 2-3. In reality, they are still figuring out their stuff I would be surprised if they continue to disappoint and then explode either later in stage 1 or in stage 2
Which narrative? With Loud having a chance to lose to NRG because they can study LOUDs approach? it is true and it is a real disadvantage to teams when they have so much info about them out there. SEN beat NRG because they had many more ideas then what they showed and they had fantastic individual performances. The narrative of preparation exists in all team-related competition because it is crucial to winning. Its why coaches get so little sleep during these tight tournaments as they have preparation processes important for teams winning
i think they only give it to the players that played and then the coaches
I mean 99% of games in VCT are carried by heroics. You could say that about most of the maps on the runs each of the Madrid-qualified teams made.
NRGs issue is approach to maps rather than players. If they figure out what to do with Demon1 and Victor on those maps they are not good at, then I could see them be back to at least top 3. Loud might lose that first matchup because there is so much tape on them
