he asked you to describe akrew, not tsm
hearing them cast neon on raze and kanpeki on neon made my brain hurt.
i was a fan of Akrew when they were on a huge win streak.
i am currently not a fan of Akrew.
take a wild guess why.
i will become a fan of Akrew again when the salt wears off.
i just remember it coming out while i was still at work the day before, maybe im remembering it wrong. def a little later this time. and no event set up on battlefy at all. the battlefy event was set up without brackets like a week in advance last time.
either way it doesn't matter, we play who we play and find out then.
we either miraculously win out through the upper bracket (like we did at the end of last year) or we bomb out and lose two matches in a row (like most of last year). no idea what to expect from those guys.
it’s just a glitch bro every where else is feb 3rd
they should add a smoke agent with some form of instant movement too. why stop at chamber and jett. let’s completely break the game!
everyone in radiant considers him a stream sniper. that’s prob why a lot of teams aren’t considering him. P.S. no idea if he’s actually a sniper this isn’t ab my opinion
wish we were able to keep him on the academy team but i’m super happy for him to be playing a BUNCH, learning, and fragging the fuck out on BBG.
when he tried playing sage and other agents he consistently bottom fragged so yeh
yeah that’s my guess. i honestly thought he would have a team by now (tier 2 maybe) but maybe something strange is going on
so much money, only to sign an IGL who plays viper on A and the operator on B on Icebox. tsm used to win icebox when they played like everyone else, viper on B and operator locking down A.
he used to occasionally drop 30+ on cypher in officials (tbf this was long ago during the time when wardell was clearly the best op in the game). and he hits sheriff clips for kids on twitter to gush over.
wardell 6-3 vs kanpeki when both played chamber on icebox. at least try and say something like seven/steel
that’s just a narrative at this point do better
it’s a bug, def starts thursday so they can play on the same schedule as last week
where do you find this information
if they wanted to pay me i'd let them ;)
that’s actually clever, i thought it was just bc they didn’t have enough casters for all the games.
i still don’t see why we can’t designate somebody to act as observer for every match. shit i’d volunteer to spend 1.5 hours observing the TSM matches without an official stream. i’d suck at it but it’s better than nothing for the fans. have a substitute / someone else in the org / a friend do it for every map.
there was a fantastic shitshow on twitter from tsm players, pro players that supported tsm, and pro players that supported cheaters. and common fans who had no idea what was truly going on but just HAD to offer their opinions. made for a fun night of scrolling lmaooo. then tsm thought they were good enough to pick troll agents/maps and got fucking destroyed in every aspect of the game by akrew.
so it goes beyond numbers, depends on opponents and playstyles. that's what i thought, just had to make sure you agreed.
wardell 258 1.52 does that make him a good jett?
u need some reprogramming droid, u just missed an obvi
tsm loses without even playing? or do u mean academy team lol
version 1 doesn’t drop a map and participates, TSM nowhere to be found
he had 3 impactful rounds on attack. so it's kinda do-able, but corey and levi gotta help him w drones and shit. and we both know he's never gonna rifle lol.
five people in one lane of the map, holding each other's balls and waiting for somebody to dry peek into wardell (spoiler alert mister IGL rossy, nobody does that anymore). then shift walk onto site dry with 15 seconds left. really entertaining stuff lmfao.
i'm a fan who wants the team to win. what the team is doing isn't leading to wins. it's leading to recurring disappointments. so as a fan, i think it's fine for me to call out their issues and be negative about them in the present. still hope they win every match, but don't believe in them to win every match rn. rough spot to be for sure. been a fan of tsm since 2020 as well, didn't know esports even existed before then lmao. not my culture.
i wouldn’t want to stream after the antics they pulled on twitter before losing either. roza the only one taking responsibility so far. https://twitter.com/subroza/status/1487995211724828674?s=21okay
100Times tsm out every time we face them sadly
i was about to comment the exact thing, u got to it first i see
i watch wardell stream when i’m bored at work, no streams today tho. wonder why. is the team practicing diligently for once?
he consistently got wardell an OP 2/3 gun rounds no matter what, winning or losing. and catered to him. and kept the boys disciplined. rossy has big shoes to fill.
riot def has the chat logs, they should be released to the public imo. no players have blatantly leaked them yet (wardell was vague).
yeah ofc, i like getting a look at the bracket asap too. nothing strange about that.
on another note, i dislike how some tsm members pretend not to know the bracket of their future opponents. wardell was on stream saying “yeah we play team ballsack (basilisk) today and then after that i don’t really know which two teams we could potentially face.”
maybe you should have known. then you wouldn’t have lost to them (the team was knights btw). i find it hard to believe that he actually doesn’t know, maybe he thought it would make him sound cool idk. i digress.
ok here’s an interesting idea. huge wardell fan, moderate tsm fan speaking.
tsm uses an OP-er to get first picks based on enemy aggression rather than actively seeking out first picks. tsm also uses an OP-er to hold flank after that.
I think wardell isn’t being used to his full potential. a much lesser OP-er could perform wardell’s role on tsm (not his fault, necessarily). so either tsm changes their system to support an OP more, or they could find a more well rounded player to OP when necessary.
if you’ve seen me around u know i mean no disrespect to wardell. thoughts?
the battlefy website will update before VLR i think, so just check that periodically. that’s what i do.
thanks for taking time to respond, i figured he wanted to know the last four to make it. but ppl have been putting down teams that already made it. they’re prob the ones who are confused.
they clearly have more synergy, that much is true.
yo i’m mad confused, ppl are listing 4 teams they want to qualify, some have already qualified, some haven’t. and 8 teams qualify total. what am i missing
ill be upset if they don't qualify this week, but ultimately im not gonna completely give up on this roster iteration unless they fail to qualify for either main event this year. actually, even if they don't qualify, as long as i see them putting in work in smaller tournaments, i'll be okayyyyy. would be fun to see wardell shit on tier2 teams every weekend.
they refuse to use utility and instead just walk dry into sites. wardell/subroza either get an opener or TSM doesn't win the round. zero "set plays" as you mentioned, no coordinated site hits with perfect utility combos and nerd shit like that. they default and look for picks every. single. round. they rarely changed the pace. hopefully their coach can point that out (and whatever else my relatively dumb ass missed) so rossy realizes it.
assuming they review vods at all...
i wanted to cry watching them send five people through A halls every round on fracture. rossy should know better.
They can literally ball out and qualify next time if they just don't tilt force up, and they figure out how to use Wardell better. It felt like they had him holding angles that were much too passive. The only success we had last year was when Wardell had over 100 first bloods. Subroza had more first bloods than Wardell this qualifier.
also they have to take the games seriously, don't pick troll agents/maps, and not get stuck in one playstyle. which should be obvious, but apparently not with TSM recently.
i try my best to be realistic, glad we can have mature conversation on an internet forum lol. i know saving an op is a tsm stereotype, but it would have helped them so much to do it more this past qualifier. until corey gets fully comfortable with his aim and rossy develops some actual strats over time, we need wardell locking down one side of the map with levi there to set him up. those two work well together. that's our win condition.
There is no doubt that Steel was shitting on Wardell when it mattered. 4-4 against each other on Split, but Steel had 10 first bloods. Seven had more impact than Wardell on Icebox. It sucked to see as a TSM fan because I 100% expected the opposite. Sure, it's hard to op when you're tired, but no excuses.
TSM is not managing their economy well at all. Wardell saving for an op one round is so much better than him buying two bulldogs. Steel and Seven won the early fights and got their economy going, but Wardell couldn't recover because his team kept force buying. I could also count the number of times he saved the op in this qualifier on one hand. Hazed used to manage that shit well, but all these young guys just tilt buy. Need to see some improvement there.
