Its the pistons. Regardless on who throws against the pistons, the pistons will still find a way to lose

(this is my opinion, dont flame)

Zekken < Derke
TenZ > Boaster
Sacy < Leo
Zellsis < Chronicle
Alfa > JohnQT

I think DRX might go the T1 route with 7 players (maybe 6 if Foxy9 doesnt join them next year).

IF we use VLR ratings:
SEN Wins > either Zekken, TenZ, johnqt
PRX Wins > either Jinggg, something, D4v41

(i just used the AVL Stats, excluding group B, since both SEN and PRX are both from the same group)

Yea. Zellsis might play here and there, but yea, Zellsis focusing on his brand is good choice for now.

Oh 100%. But kaplan might look into their map pools from this tournament and create something that 1. helps Sacy perform at his best, 2. keeps Sacy's confidence at its peak, 3. doesn't break team moral. I believe, and I will always use this argument against 6 man roster haters, that Sentinels has a better 6 man roster than 2023 DRX with foxy9 and 2023 PRX with cgrs.

Why SEN might keep a 6 man roster (using the SEN invitational as context):

TenZ on the flex role (with the occasional Yoru for bind), Zekken being the main duelist, Zellsis being the ZADDY that he is and picking up agents that we are lacking in, johnqt saving SEN's asses in crucial rounds, Sacy being our best recon player and pANcada not missing his shots, is what SEN needs. The only thing that can probably stop SEN fans from crying is if Sacy gets off Skye, improving their midrounding (still the same old, slow midrounds with no proper push for plant) and understanding their map picks (Sunset and Bind are their best maps in this tournament). If Sacy just stays on Sova/Fade and Zellsis takes Skye for maps where anyone from the main roster isn't performing well in, then I think SEN might surprise everyone next season.

I agree. To me, most maps in Valorant rarely need double duelists or even sentinels due to how good double smokes and/or double initiators are now in play.

posted about a year ago

Damn.... My ranked squad knows me as the lurking sentinel coz I get info really quickly from any rotates etc. If they tell me to play another agent, I wouldnt mind succumbing to it. So, if your team "wants to practice it until you get good", I think find a middle point for that flex role (if you originally play a flashing duelist, keep working on your flashing initiator.)

Split and Bind. But in reality, you should talk to your team about comfort picks. If you wanna do a double duelist meta with your team, go for it.

posted about a year ago

Yeah, all these forums talking about Sacy and Pancada not performing to a "standard" is a stretch. With NRG, I still believe in what they can bring, especially if they can bring a good IGL.

I agree with your take on Furia, they might take it up a notch next season.

To also add from my response to you, I think G2 might have potential. They aren't looking the best (context: Sentinels Invitational and G2 x SEN showmatch), but they can do insane damage next season too.

With the T2 teams, MXS and OXG are my best picks for next years ascension. They're looking pretty good imo

4 rounds is a reach. I still think FUT would win, but the gap is very slim from both teams.

Out of all the Americas teams, I see KRU, LEV, LOUD, SEN, NRG and C9 (in no particular order) be top of VCT Americas.

posted about a year ago

I think they might bring benkai back while jinggg does his military leave

this is laughable. riot do some weird shit sometimes

While we're at it, what's everyone's fantasy vct team? (includes coach and a sixthman)

posted about a year ago

fr? damn i missed out

posted about a year ago

yea... which kinda sucks. kinda wanna make a fantasy league where u can pick your best 5 for the week, drop 1 or 2 players for the next week, then repeats until the league finishes

posted about a year ago

Who knows how to make a fantasy league? kinda want to make a partnered VCT fantasy league.
