There are some rumors about Portuguese players migrating to the Brazilian scene, which is totally understandable honestly, taken into consideration that no org will pick them up. It just became a franchise league at this point and they will not change it at all, it gives them more money than giving small org with local players the opportunity to grow.

I don't think Riot realizes how big the EMEA scene is. If you stand for European, Middle Eastern, and African regions, first that ME and Africa should have an open qualifier for themselves, even if only one spot for them, they still should have theirs, and secondly if you're gonna subcategorize the European scene between Europe, Turkey, and CIS (besides 4 invited teams) 12 teams are 100% not enough, and having anything above 75% guaranteed not facing relegation is pretty bad. 8 out of 12 teams remaining would be the sweet spot.
