cn games? Where he played against a bunch of not so good teams? Look at how bili and fpx performed in this tournament. They are the #2,3 in cn games. No matters how well kk played against his own fellow teams back in his country. Those games dont matter at all because there is no good team(top team, world class level) in china except EDG.
If u take a look at his performance in master tokyo and champion, he is absolutely dominating with the op. But when he is not oping he is only average at best. Definitely not top 2 duelist. Top 1 op in this tournament or among all current pro teams, i will give this to him. But in terms of being a duelist(creating space), he is maybe just top 5 or 6. Kk only entry for his team on pearl and i really think he is very average on entrying. A lot of times, he dashes in and he dies literally asap. Every other map, smoogy entries for him and the team.
His jett knives is good, insane op, mid entrying.
His raze is mid af on split compared to other raze.
He still has a lot to improve on. Stop overhyping him and let the boy get gooddder bro. He has the potential. A hell lot.

compared to jingg rifle? something rifle? the only thing kk is better than them is his OP. in terms of entrying, doing what "dueliest is supposed to do" which is to create space for the team. KK sucks in this aspect. smoogy is the real entry for EDG. KK only op bro. lets be real.

nobody always has consistency issue. somehow nobody can frag extremely well when he is on clutch. when his teammates are still alive he just cant hit anything

the 3/9 gear pause on map 1 was cringe as fk.

during the master series, they dont know kk's play style yet. thats why kk had been insane in that series.
this time around, teams have been studying EDG and kk strat for 2 months straight. they know how to react and counter the way kk plays.
kk still have some moment here in this tourney. but he hasnt been "insane" at all. just some regular frags.

kk plays jett all the time, and smooggy plays raze usually. why did they put kk on raze on split and smoggy on jett?
from what i ve seen, kk is not a good raze util wise. he is not the entry on the team. he still mainly op with raze on split. why dont they put kk on jett on split?

kk is the new kid in the block. of course the non-og viewer is gonna refer to him rather anyone else.

boostio always get caught first on lotus. then eg will start to tilt. prx wins on lotus for sure

aim wise. yes. awp wise its hard to tell.
kang kang relies too much on jett's E to awp and get out after getting a kill. at least the way he plays his awp game and the angle that he takes rely heavily on jett's E to get out. mean while boostio is delivering the kills sitting duck holding an angle using kj. its 2 different play style. so its hard to compare them.

rifle wise, boostio is way better than kang kang, at least in this tourney.

Just got to know edg in this tournament. Here is my initial impression after watching their runs.

1. kang kang is the chinese version of tenz 2.0. Very flashy op flick gameplay along with just “aight” rifle skill(in tournament). When he is not on jett w op, he is not as impactful as other dualists.
2. Nobody has consistency issue.
3. Their best player is chiccho. Good consistency. Insane rifle skill. Fragged well when it matters. Overall the best player on the team.
