Wasn't Leaf like top 3 duelists in Americas last year?
I don't know why, but the opinions on VLR seem so one-sided sometimes. Like -- I have seen almost nobody rooting for G2 unless I'm just missing all of the G2 fans lmfao. I have only seen people root for KRU
BE HAPPY THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO INNOVATE FOR GOD SAKE
I am willing to see Trent on Viper if it means we don't have to see the same old Ascent comp
the 3 teams in tier 2 are gonna love this thread
wtf is this thread, we are truly doomed
blud is trying to reignite his thread lmfao
Remember it like it was yesterday! #tbt
Still a winnable series for those over at G2! I think they can make an incredible comeback and win against Team Messi!
You forgot about Alecksdesk silly!
Current VCT Champion is not LOUD. LOUD have 2/5 of the players that won that championship?
FUR was hardly competitive against NRG. Sure the score-line looked close but if you actually watch the game you'll see that basically every round NRG won looked convincing(mainly breeze), while FUR looked like they were scraping through and regardless of that they lost anyway. Also, I don't think Havoc is 16, you're not allowed to play in VCT unless you're 18.
"MIBR almost won against Cloud9" emphasis on ALMOST MEANING THEY DIDN'T. I mean by that standard 100T almost beat Leviatan.
And to your final point, that literally does not matter, that does not back up your point that SA owns NA? A winning team is a winning team.
This thread has aged like milk
Think SOME teams are swaying away from double controller; some favouring double initiator as an alternative due to the skye nerfs, which is why I said it's fine, but yeah double smokes is incredibly dull. Not sure how they'd make any more changes to reduce the amount of double controller though.
The meta is fine, wish we had Haven and Fracture in over Ascent and Breeze though
Yeah you're probably right, if they caught RRQ and Gen G on a bad day then maybe but I'm not sure
They might be able to push some of the middle of the pack teams like RRQ, Gen G and Team Secret. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat Global.
Never underestimate the evilest of geniuses
Well? Um MIBR lost to Cloud9. FUR lost to NRG. I don't think SA owns NA lmfao, both regions are looking pretty competitive though!
Not anymore actually!! They won ascension meaning they were promoted to VCT!!! hope this helps
I know the game isn't over yet but I want to apologise, I wasn't familiar with your game.
Sure they're comfortable... but? more comfortable? We have never seen Loud play that map, for all we know it could be their best
Arguable, LOUD let Sunset through for a reason, they could have a pretty good Sunset especially with how innovative they are plus there's a huge possibility that they watched their VODs from the off-season
You forget that Leaf provides far more than just a superstar duelist
Think they're going for a heavy post plant comp, pretty old school way of playing icebox. Reminds me of M3C
It's not worth it. Just go back and watch VOD
Stay up to watch a Global Esports game??????????????????????????????????????//
I didn't watch the match but the rookie players on ZETA look great just stats wise. If they're on par with Dep and Laz I genuinely think they could be top 3 Pacific roughly.
God forbid somebody disagree with a coach or somebody within the scene! Organized site executes aren't what solely make a game. Regardless of that, some of the decision making in this game was horrendous.
I'm currently watching the Cloud9 versus MIBR VOD, specifically Bind -- and I'm not gonna lie, this might be one of the worst games of Tier 1 Valorant I have ever seen.
I'd give them the benefit of the doubt considering it's the first game of the season and everybody starts off a little bit shaky
