You asked for news about X10. I gave it to you
My point still stands: the case was widely blown up. Riot made an official ruling. They should've known, that's all.

Again, second time I've said this.
Every fanbase has nutcases and dumbasses. We need to stop them and cut the toxicity
Rare shadow ratio. Good job
it is, and yes not fixed yet
That is my bad yes. But you should cut down the toxicity
Sorry force of habit, Galaxy Racer's new brand (Nigma Galaxy).
Again yes, I do not know, however these cases are spread widely and talked about a lot. It's very possible to know.
Those news might not be blown up, I do not know, but Giant's case was widely discussed, Riot posted a ruling, etc... X10's also had a lot of outcry.
Sorry missed the link https://www.vlr.gg/33390/teams-finalized-for-next-stage-of-sea-challengers-playoffs
If the excuses are valid, there's nothing wrong with having excuses. Not agreeing with the toxicity here buddy
You can. Teams can receive punishments and stuff if they do something that isn't in the rulebook but threatens competitive integrity under the referee's discretion.
They also record each player seperately for replays, no reason why they couldn't have 1 referee on 1-2 monitors/POV
Then you need to read up man.
Both X10 and Giants using this cam was on an article here.
My opinions:
Lol sorry my bad, thought it was mine
Bugged texture allows an unfair 1-way
True. But again, back to topic: imo Jhow should've known.
Riot's incompetence is insane, I agree
Reply to #14
That I totally agree.
But it doesn't relate to the topic: that "VK should have known"
Gotta keep it fair and unbiased. Nutcases downvoting me for speaking what I think is right.
Again, the ruling and execution by Riot was shit. But, they should have known. Riot posted a ruling on their Twitter, which I highly doubt the Brazilian teams don't follow.
Calling X10 and NGX as obamacare and tiktokgods are kinda a low blow.
My bad my bad
As much as I support VK right now, I'm on Riot's side on this matter.
The bug appeared twice, first one in a relatively small event, yes, and the other one in a major qualifier.
BUT, THE NEWS ABOUT IT WAS SPREAD LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. They don't need to stay up at 3am to watch SEA quals to know about the bug. Hell, Riot posted on Twitter about the ruling with Giants - Bref iirc.
Again, Riot handled it terribly, ruling was kinda shit, I don't think Jhow knew about it and if he did he wouldn't risk it, the bug should've been in the rulebook, etc.... But they should've known
You're missing my point.
VK won 4, lost 2. Riot removing 6 rounds means that VK lost the 4 rounds they used the bug and won, BUT ALSO 2 OTHER ROUNDS, totally unrelated, since the other 3 bugged rounds were lost.
Edit: thanks Vortx
Acend still getting the Op for cNed iirc and still getting rifles. "Economic impact" here is about Riot not wanting to reschedule for a rematch costing them precious pennies.
I totally agree. The ruling was fair enough, since consistency and such (the logic with the rounds was awful tho), but Riot DEFINITELY could've handled this better.
How?!? VK won 4, lost 2 in those rounds. For me, you should've added 4, that's all. They're just trying to make Acend reach 13
I did say Riot should do punishments/remakes proactively. The FURIA and VK cases are different.
FURIA got paused for a completely legal jump.
VK used a totally illegal cam, but Riot did not actively pause the game and remake/do punishments.
Just incompetence on Riot's side.
I don't even think the jump was in the rulebook, the referees just went "oh shit they did something nasty, might be illegal" and paused the game. (again, completely legal). If it was legal, then I guess just give SEN the round.
Agreed, it might be a lose-lose, but at least Riot and try and be more fair and active in games.
Honestly being a student who takes multiple exams and shit, momentum is a big thing. I think anybody who's done a lot of activities under pressure agrees with this.
Psychological effects aside, again it was part of the game since a long time ago, it doesn't even require Jett's floating thingy (i forgot the name, excuse me). You could jump on the small plant box then 180 up top using a crouch jump. IT IS MOVEMENT-BASED, NOT GLITCHY OR WHATEVER
I hope that Riot actually gets competent referees, and actually do punishments/remakes proactively. The cam was on goddamn stream, no shot the referees did not see it.
There's a rulebook, but poorly updated. If not, should've been fine. But it's terrible. Doesn't even have THIS VERY BUG even though it first appeared ages ago.
Also yes that FURIA jump was totally fair, you could do it with every character if you have good movement, which in the end comes down to skill.
VK will beat the shit outta Acend. cNed probably still frags tho.
This is the important question.
That cam, even without the 1-way gap, could still be a really useful and viable camera. All Riot really needs to do is fix the gap. I can't claim to be good at 3D designing or shit, but honestly all you have to do is add a cover really.
This started from Giants vs Bref. Why isn't it fixed yet?
mwzera's playing a slightly different role, gotta see how that pans out
But I do agree, VK can be a powerhouse.
If they don't choke
Best gotta be -draken +draken
Honestly a big Liquid fan from the start, but I'm going to try not to be biased.
Liquid looked dominant against KRU, but there's some experimenting, for example KAY/O on Soulcas. Hopefully the team gets used to the new comps, bc there were some questionable plays.
For Sentinels, TenZ looked kinda fired up already, hitting kinda nasty flicks and shots. They are bad on defence though, which Liquid could take advantage of.
All in all, which team respects and reads their opponent better will come out on top. I expect a banger
GGWP. Good showing by Secret. I was kinda worried bc they lost a lot in tourneys before this, but did really well, exceeded my expectations.
Gambit's just on another level
Sometimes I just never understand what's going through these people's minds. It won't be fun for the person on the receiving end, and I doubt it is good entertainment for themselves either. They're wasting time while they could've stuck together and have a decent chance of a comeback/close scoreline. But no.
Liquid and Gambit just finished hot streaks, definitely will be hyped
i'm bored, let's do this
How? No-no-but-a-nnn-no-but-how? How? How is he there? Ho-how is he there?!? I don't understand?!? How does he manage to do that?!? And-ohhh HE'S GONNA GET A KILL ONTO MIXWELL! WHAT IS THIS MAN DOING?!?
It's always possible that the long time without playing top tier made em lose it a bit. If they properly warm up, prepare properly, and feel themselves, probably will do better
I think they just need improvements and experience as a whole. Both India and Pakistan. No saying for sure who's better right now
Even before SEA played outside their region, they were already quite cracked
Things might still be being refined and in the works somehow
Good ol "player playin [insert game name] these days player moves"
right sorry lmfao
in my defence tho i messaged it before your message
Good shit tho
they don't have what Gambit / Liquid have (insane aimers all around)
Derke, Doma and MAGNUM fucking says hello
sad day, ggs tho
that must be painful...
that feeling when you lose so bad and then you just get this epic comeback just to lose a few rounds into ot? especially a pro match, dayum
