Relyks is actually really mechanically strong, but his playstyle in tourneys is just terrible. He plays really slow lurks all the time and often dies first when his opponents catch on. He could easily be a great player if he played entry and maybe played on a different team.

Seems like WGS’s aggression got too predictable on haven. VS made the right adjustments over the course of the bo3 and took map control more reactively when they recognized WGS pushed somewhere else.

WGS honestly looking too fast for VS on ascent. Especially love their attacking side with up tempo yoru plays and atypical site holds. They really are catching VS off guard.

Also WGS look super coordinated with astra, hope they can reach the level of coordination that VS once had with breach/jett

My perspective might be different as an American, but it feels like the game’s almost gone mainstream in the sense that even people who aren’t dedicated video game players are playing it. CS had high viewership but I don’t think it was as appealing (especially visually) to regular people. I think the future of the game is pretty bright.

It’s really sad because esports is currently in a middle ground. It’s big enough to have financial incentives for scammers like Ezio, but it’s not big enough to be as regulated and protected as regular sports (not saying regular sports are perfect). I can’t say if esports will ever move out of this middle zone, but we can only hope.

They aren’t as reactive as NA teams and generally don’t match up mechanically either (maybe with the exception of rb and stax). They were good for their set plays but teams around the world adapted to them already cause everyone was stealing those plays.
