and no one cares about anything but TI. the scene is good as dead other than the end of the year big money event paid for by the fans. both fortnite and dota has fallen to this pitfall of giving massive amounts to their champions which ended up killing the pro scene for everything else that doesnt have millions attached to it. no one would care who won masters 1,2 and 3 if champs just had 2 mil for the winner, killing the scene. this is the right way to do things as far as ive seen.

there is prize money then there is the skin money which is given to all equally. the one who gets the most is in the first place, then 2nd, then 3rd/4th, then so on. the skin money will be divided equally but the prize pool will still be divided proportionally. no team gets more money than the winning team.

this is a huge incentive for orgs to get into valorant and make solid rosters. getting a minimum 470,000 usd guaranteed if you make champs it will bring more sponsors and orgs to the game. also we have seen what "smaller region" teams can do knocking out championship contenders in groups, its never as easy as you think to get into champs.

a jump glitch being exploited has no precedent of being punished by riot. this cam through that exact broken texture (slightly different positioning of the cam but using the same broken texture nonetheless) has been punished before by a map ff. theres a difference between making a hard jump that is not intentional by riot and a cam that is unbreakable from certain areas even though it can spot players in that area WHICH HAS BEEN PUNISHED FOR BEING USED BEFORE.

acend may choke but not against vk. i only believe in heat but cned has him covered so even if his team underperforms i think acend has enough there to pull through with a team with relatively weaker mental like vk. acend doesnt have the strongest mental either, but theres enough pedigree there to believe in them.

the scene is not healthy at all, it is impossible to get anyone to care about anything other than TI. if an event doesnt have 10's of millions on the line absolutely no one watches it. having events like blast, redbull, nerdst in val and blast, iem in csgo that fans care about gives the scene more diversity and a solid base for teams to grow/invest.

what lol. no you dont, you just need aws to setup the infrastructure and they are the ones who host and sell the actual server space, riot just rents the servers for the game. it would be wayyyy too expensive to build and manage a serverfarm on your own even for a company as big as riot when there are better alternatives like aws readily available.
