all I said was that fpx and g2 are not similar in strength, that does not mean that fpx would sweep the event, but whatever ig keep putting words in other peoples mouths

I would say they played the same as with their normal roster they beat gambit, but you have to realise how insane that if for a team to play the same with a sub or without their star player, I mean just look at what happened to fnatic. Back in the day they also nearly made it to masters 2 granted it was a slightly different roster but it still had the core 3 players so its not like fpx have only just become a good team. Last thing I will add is that despite emea being out of the current tournament it doesn't mean that the entire region is shit, use your brain and stop bandwagoning

never said they were prime gambit and nitpicking on 1 game they lost whilst having a stand in just proves how weak your argument is, ldn also beat gambit a while back it doesn't mean shit, you also seemed to ignore the fact they got first seed whilst their star duelist had covid, do you think that optic for example would be at Reykjavik rn if yay couldn't play and instead they had fns and crashies fill in as their primary oper, use your brain man

ur delusional if u think g2 and fpx are close in strength, fpx comfortably 3-1'd g2 (and 2-0'd prime fnatic) playing with a stand in and having support players play jett

gambit are different on lan tho, acend isn't in better form they beat nv which is an NA team and liquid had a bad day

but gambit still won tho

its such a shame that liquid choked cos they were really the only team capable of beating gambit

I just pointed this out to illustrate that counting wins is so braindead as teams never stay and perform the same, the guy is counting group stage and grand final matches as the same thing

what does EMEA stand for then

posted about 3 years ago

I mean EMEA teams have won 19 times in international LANs (7 in Iceland, 12 in berlin) whilst NA teams have only won 16 times (6 at Iceland, 10 in berlin)

EMEA is Europe, Middle East and Africa. CIS and TR arent regions, CIS being a group of eastern European countries and Turkey being a country
