this match is still a clash of trash π΄
better than fire flux esports that's for sure
clash of trash π΄
both of these two teams ain't making it to playoffs anyway
when the contract ends doesn't really matter tbh, there's no way these orgs didn't prepare for a clause for when they wanna cut their players
because muh representation
I hope not, because if the crowd is bad and ppl complain here there's not a lot japanese users to defend the crowd, and that shit would be boring as fuck
no one will fell for PRX's tricks anymore
jakee and runi are not experienced on the international stage
I would say liquid I guess
my goat would drop 50 on the argh argh frauds
I don't really like quack tbh, bro just seems cluelees most of the time
honestly I thought he's gonna be a high sens onliner, but I guess he proved me wrong
when I said impressive I meant Impressive for PRX standards lmao, they're still a troller obviously
have you seen this ZETA match? their midrounding is impressive despite playing without an IGL, I feel really bad for benkai lmao
ok I thought people are memeing but people actually believe the concept of "saving strats" I guess π
leaf is the replacement for TenZ in C9 lmao, they never played together
blud suggesting a terrorist attack for a video game tournament π
they won the head to head against Secret, GE, and RRQ, those three teams are the only ones who can take their spot, unless two of those team has a higher record than ZETA which is pretty unlikely I don't see ZETA get knocked from playoffs Clueless
bro is not a xdd high sens cracked aimer that's why they benched him
this shit reminding me of old PRX where they would just stomp through APAC challengers and make deep impressive international tournament runs, I don't see the latter happening but PRX have been looking very impressive
they can technically still make it if they won all of their remaining matches, GE beat Team Secret and then Team Secret, GE, and RRQ need to lose all of their remaining matches, but yeah it ain't happening
how the fuck did Talon beat Gen.G? like did Talon just turned the fuck up or Gen.G dropped the ball?
I don't see Talon make it to playoffs but that's an insane upset from them
Gen.G lost two upset matches in a row now, what the hell happened to them lmao
well the last time they face them PRX would literally just walk into their crosshair so idk about that
but both teams have made roster changes since then so who knows
I don't pander to delusions.
damn maybe I should pursue esports journalism, cuz most esports journalist suck ass π
botssi πΏ
that's kinda sad for VLR ngl π
damn thanks man! I don't wanna be a writer or anything like that but thanks for the input! I just got too much time to kill lmao
I mean tbf they think it's okay to release Chamber on to the game, might as well hire you tbh
bacot
if TALON won all of their remaining matches, and GE won against Secret, and other scenarios that I'm too lazy to think of, they could make it but I just don't see it tbh
two of them can't win all of their matches because the two of them would face eachother
the only way for ZETA to get knocked out would be either of these two scenarios:
that's why I put a disclaimer "(unless some insane upsets happened in the last couple of matches of course)" after I say that because I don't see RRQ beating PRX or TS beating DRX, either of these needs to happen in order for ZETA to get knocked out
look at the second scenario for Team Secret on my post
yea but they can move to 6th if TS win two of their matches, that would put TS 5-4 and therefore ahead of ZETA, but ZETA would still be in the playoff (unless something miraculous happens)
oh I thought you meant the playoff spot, I mean it doesn't really matter at all if they go 5th or 6th honestly, unless you really care that much about the seeding
yea but they beat all of these three teams, unless there's two of the three teams here has a better record than zeta then there's no way they got knocked
they have the biggest chance to get knocked out of the top 5 teams sure but they beat all of these three teams and that put them higher head to head in case either of these three teams has the same record as them, so there's no shot ZETA out of the playoffs, unless some miracle happened
they could still make it without beating PRX
to add a bit more on the second scenario for GE: there's a chance for a three way tie happening between them, even in the match against Team Secret GE loses. the day after the match RRQ will face PRX, if up until that point the most predictable outcome happened and then RRQ beat PRX on the final match of the pacific league then what will happen is that all of these three team would be in a three way tie and if that happens GE has somewhat of a good chance to make it through due to their high differentials. So there could be something spicy happening on the last day of the league
If you don't know what's currently happening in the Pacific, due to the tiebreaker rules, the top 5 team for Pacific Playoffs are basically secured, and that is DRX, PRX, GEN.G, T1, and ZETA (unless some insane upsets happened in the last couple of matches of course).
And for the last spot for the playoffs, there's currently 3 teams that are in contention to taking that spot, and that is Team Secret, RRQ, and Global Esports. And on this post I'm gonna explain all of the possible scenarios to happen for each of these three teams to make playoffs (reminder that these scenarios are with the most likeliest result to happen in mind, that team's scenario would not be correct if the other team in the contention pull off an upset), starting with Global Esports:
Global Esports currently has a 2-4 record in the league, even though they have a losing record they're actually +3 in round differential, not that it matters but it's still impressive considering Team Secret who has a 3-3 record has a fewer round differential. They're actually in a brink of elimination until they pull off an upset win against Gen.G that put them back in the contention for playoffs
The next three teams that GE are going to face is RRQ, DFM, and Team Secret. They are quite lucky that they still haven't face the other two teams and can decide their fate for the playoffs in their own hands. And here are some of the most likeliest scenarios to happen for GE to be in the playoffs ranging from difficulty:
Their most important match is actually their match against Team Secret, that match will basically decide if they're in the playoffs or not. It's a bit of rough path for GE to make playoffs, but if they can beat Gen.G I feel like they can still pull the first scenario off, but I would say that the second scenario are the most highly likely to happen
Team Secret currently has a 3-3 record in the league, which is the best out of all of the three teams, but unfortunately their last 3 remaining matches are the hardest one out of the three teams. They're going to face against T1, DRX, and Global Esports, and here's are the most likeliest scenarios for them:
All Team Secret got to do is beat GE and hope for RRQ's downfall, that's basically it. And I would say that scenario is the most likely to happened for them
RRQ currently has a 2-4 record in the league, they had a rough start but they got a crucial win in a match against Team Secret that would put them above Team Secret if there's ever a tiebreaker between those two, Their last three opponents are GE, Talon, and PRX. and here's the scenarios for RRQ to be in the playoff:
In order for RRQ to be in the playoff they need to win at least two of their remaining matches, which is very unlikely but considering RRQ impressive showing against DRX it's definitely not impossible for them do pull it off.
if I were to rank the chances of each of these three teams to be in the playoff it would be this:
In my opinion out of all the scenarios Team Secret are the most likely to came out on top to take that final spot, but all three of the team's chances are neck-to-neck. All of these three teams have rose up and fell down the power rankings over the past two months and I would not be surprised if either of these three teams take that final spot.
if I made any errors or if you think there's something wrong in this post let me know
I be waking up real early to have extra time to be a hater π
I GOT OUT OF BED AT ALL
