It is day 3 under the dictators' oppressive regime.
After endless days engrossed in the forum, I finally venture outside while waiting to post again. The sun's warmth on my skin feels foreign, yet comforting. I had forgotten the subtle symphony of a neighborhood - wind chimes, distant voices, a lawnmower.
A man walks his dog across the street. Such a mundane sight, but its novelty enthralled me. How curious that strangers live independent lives beyond this screen's confines. It all seems so new, though once it was my normal.
Patience is a virtue, or so they say. This enforced 30 minute restrictions between posts provides ample time for contemplation. Perhaps I shall take up meditation, find serenity in the silence. Focus on the positive.
Perhaps if I act normal, pretend all is well, they will accept me again. Hello fellow forum members! Isn't it a lovely day for civil discourse? Please tell me of your hobbies and interests!
Maybe I should go out more often, relearn the forgotten rhythms of an analog world. But for now my 30 minutes are just starting. Until next time...
