Sentinels take notes on work ethic
I think guild is a better team in terms of aim and strategy but I think they might not thrive in a live environment, but I give them benefit of the doubt. I think DRX is at least close to KRU and with KRU receiving a wake up call from losing to leviatan I think they will win if they play. Would be in interesting match but I give it to KRU, just my opinion. Note: I’m not saying group b teams are bad, just that group a teams would beat all of them.
Yes however this is a naive approach to rating teams, I do it more based on gameplay. I watched all of nth and fpx. Also fpx have visa issues I would consider them top tier without those issues. Xerxia and DRX are both very good however I believe them to be worse than KRU, Optc, Guild, and even Loud. I’ve seen nothing yet to suggest otherwise!
Is it just me or would every group a team beat every group b team
I got 4s on everything except lang but it doesn’t matter cuz my college doesn’t accept lang. got a ton of credits for calc and languages tho
Actual TLDR:
SEN org putting in effort, but ratzam and other players aren’t and op wants them to consider players more hungry to win
Practice isn’t always about comps it’s about teamwork which they clearly lack. Practice makes perfect right?
my fault I looked at the wrong person no cap
Spoilers I guess?
Why the cliffhanger :(
I been watching since blitz sg, I cried so long and hard and I usually don’t cry ever
You guys on this list aren’t putting optic top in firepower or strategies but they won the last masters, surely should be higher!
Is SicK technically even a controller? Like I know he plays it but is it his main role?
no pujan hate will be tolerated
This is like the pre wildcard round should be a banger
in lower bracket tho
wait yay is literally new to chamber, look at jett games vs chamber games
I see what you're saying in that matches can be cut off early because the opposing team wins pistol even when they are dominant on that half of the map, but it's still EXPECTED that they're going to win on that half with a comp that thrives on that half
I'm sorry if I'm not making sense, but it kind of sounds like you're supporting my argument. Even if 100T lost their bonus, which was expected, it's also still expected that they at least go to overtime. You said the game is momentum-based, but then you also said pistol rounds are coinflip, so doesn't that support me saying that the map immediately changes at halftime to support 100T?
btw sorry caps i just dont like italicizing
momentum is definitely a thing but defensive sided maps/comps are also most definitely a thing.
let's take an extreme example to demonstrate:
It's split
100T have KJ, Cypher, Brimstone, Raze, and Sage
FaZe have Chamber, Omen, Cypher, Neon, and Sage
Do you not expect 10-2 or something similar for defense on both halves if the teams are even in strength?
Even if one team goes 10-2, mental is not going to be ruined and momentum is going to shift because ITS A NEW HALF AND YOU DONT GET VANDALS TO START HALF
this logic makes no sense. valorant is a game where you SWAP SIDES after 12 rounds. when a team selects a map, then the other team gets to pick side first. SO OF COURSE FAZE IS GOING TO 9-3 ON 100T'S MAP PICKS since 100T are better at split defense and icebox offense. this should not only NOT BE SURPISING, it should be PREDICTABLE.

stranger things?
i have exact same problem but the main issue is EU players in my games. I'm tempted to switch servers cuz of it. Usually no comms on my team and do awful, but when they're on enemy team they drop like 40 X_X
Yeah it’s the second tiebreaker since all three teams are tied directly h2h
Go find a good coach and see what he does
cNed cuz he won champs
Split can actually be a complex and interesting map, but the problem is people play so one-dimensionally in ranked "push a" or "push mid" or "push b" when the map requires so much more than that. That's why so many underrate it. I think Haven is still far and away the best map because of how dynamic it is and how many staging grounds there are. There is room for so much tactics. Ascent is underrated by so many for some reason when there's so much room for teamplay. Icebox is unique in how vertical it can get. Breeze is similar to Ascent, just larger and has halls. Bind has become partially one-dimensional and has the least amount of growth in terms of strategies. Fracture is unique because of all the orbs and angles of attack. That's why I think most of the maps are close in terms of how good they are.
TL;DR
1) Haven
2) Breeze
3) Ascent
4) Split
5) Icebox
6) Fracture
7) Bind
S Tier: Haven
A Tier: Breeze, Ascent, Split, Icebox, Fracture
B Tier: Bind
he should go back to OW tho X_X
It’s not like fade has a better defense tho, her eye doesn’t get more value than sova dart and prowler rarely helps more than a drone would
fnatic so low? is there a reason?
Ascent: Fade=Sova
Bind: Fade=Sova
Split Fade>Sova
Haven: Fade=Sova
Fracture: Fade>Sova
Breeze: Sova>Fade
Icebox: Sova>Fade
