Yeah I have no clue. In fact, I have no idea why they let him go unless it was mutual.

Hello, I’m geospliced, and I would like to tell you all how grateful I am to have spent part of my 2023 with you all. May the golden sun never set and may the mushroom cloud never rise for us.
Best wishes, geospliced

Nice! It's a great read.

Try a house! Having a comfortable environment to live in brings much more value than a form of transportation imo.

posted 9 months ago

I just finished Ready Player One it was pretty nice! Except the fact that I wouldn't want to live in a world where everyone plays games for a living.

Jamppi because it has a pleasant ring to it imo
Chronicle because it is one of my favorite words in the english dictionary
hfmi0dzjc9z7 because it's funny
Zmjjkk because the story behind it is wholesome
snail because I like gastropods and escargot
tuyz because I like how it sounds
seph1roth because I like how it sounds

I do the IBDP.

Yeah it's the IBDP, so it's out of 7.

You can do it! I trust you :)

My 2024 New Year Resolution:

  • Get a 6 in at least 5 of my core subjects
  • Put in at least 90% every single day
  • Smile more
  • Talk and get to know new people
  • Study hard for my IAs and write a high-scoring EE
  • Enjoy Valorant when appropriate
  • Follow Esports when appropriate
  • Put in effort for the school musical
  • Stay on good terms with friends

That's all I got so far.

Sucks for us but some pros really need it. Rest is important for everyone, especially when it come to such a mentally straining game like Valorant. Burnout is dreadful and can heavily impact performances if gone unchecked (look at EDG for example recently).

posted 9 months ago

Yeah. That's why I love interacting with people old and new!

Usually I save my thanks for Thanksgiving day, or when I'm on a walk with them or just a wholesome moment in general. Having loyal companions to rely on can be instrumental in this time and age, and I think it benefits everyone when one can express the appreciation they have for their friends.

Thank you!

No problem benjy!

Hello tomato! Happy new year

posted 9 months ago

That's a great way to start a new year. Friends are always great!

posted 9 months ago

Interesting! Thank you for informing me.

posted 9 months ago

I'm doing alright, I've got some unfinished assignments that I should be completing but I'm probably going to procrastinate. How about you?

posted 9 months ago

Not 2024 for me yet, but happy New Year conut!

I've never watched Wardell before, but he was popular a long time ago no? I don't think I would go as far to say he's cringe because I've never watched him, but he's definitely not a binge for me.

posted 9 months ago

No worries it happens sometimes!

I think it was a very enjoyable anime to watch. It was comedic and the laughs it invoked are not to be forgotten.

posted 9 months ago

Honestly, I agree. The BLUE arc was quite the tasteless arc. Season 3 should have been the last season.

posted 9 months ago

That would be a good decision to make. And no problem!

posted 9 months ago

SWERL is out with a hand injury no? Anyways, personally I am really looking forward to seeing the new Bonkers team, as Bonkers has always been one of the APAC teams I've been somewhat fond of.

posted 9 months ago

Maybe they just didn't want to invest in Valorant afterall or the other orgs were better options. Who knows?

I appreciate your kind words, anyth1ng. I am somewhat nervous about the whole process of becoming a member of society and getting higher education but I'm optimistic that things will work out well. I think spending the new year in Brazil's northeast beaches is a fantastic idea. I've never been to brazil, but I have friends living in and from Sao Paulo. I also know Fortaleza is a city located in the northeast. Regardless, have a wonderful new years eve! ❤️

That was the stuff.

posted 9 months ago

I see! Well, that explains a lot, thank you! Considering that there have indeed been many posts about vo0kashu going to EMEA, I now understand why you brought this up. Sorry for misinterpreting!

posted 9 months ago

Well, The Hobbit was written during simpler times for Tolkien (before WW2), and he did intend for it to be a childrens story. But yes LOTR is an absolute banger.

posted 9 months ago

No problem!

Hi anyth1ng! I hope you're having a nice day. For new years eve, I am spending my time here at home in Milan. My family got puppies to raise therefore we cannot go on vacation (usually we go to Spain but this year we planned to visit Thailand). Regardless, I will be spending my day celebrating and anticipating the coming of 2024.

My life is reaching a point where I need to take things much more seriously and put in work unfathomable to my present self. There are a lot of things that are going to have to get done in 2024 and I am preparing myself mentally to tackle all the challenges/obstacles. One thing to look forward to are university applications (possibly)!

What about you? How are you spending your new years eve? I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day.

This is somewhat true, considering the fact that I have only been active in the forums for around one quadrimestre. Despite that, I think the fact that there are people who would nominate someone like me for their awards is a testament to my efforts of engaging with the community as a pleasant individual (I try my best).

Karmine Org WhispeR, I have yet to have a significant interaction with you on this platform, but I will graciously accept your awards! I look forward to our future meetings, and thank you once again.

Violet Evergarden? Anohana? Those two shows have literally made me secrete lacrimal fluid from my oculi without them being irritated at all.

Well, I think something books do better than other forms of entertainment is its ability to allow one to imagine things they have probably never imagined before. Therefore, I shall recommend to you "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. It's a fantasy novel, and I think it's a good read! Of course, if you don't like it I could always try to find you a book that suit your tastes.

posted 9 months ago

Well, here is a short list of the books I have read/reread in the year of 2023 (not much of a reader):

  • Lord of the Rings (9.5/10 classic)
  • The Name of the Wind (10/10 my favorite book of all time)
  • You've Reached Sam (8/10 wholesome read)
  • Environmental Systems and Societies 2015 Edition Course Companion Oxford (1.5/10 annoying but informative to read)
  • Konosuba Volume 9 (7/10 decent)
  • Hamlet (8/10 my favorite Shakespeare work)
  • Chemistry Steve Owen Cambridge 2014 Edition (0.5/10 informative but induces acute blindness and migranes in left side of head after reading a couple pages)
  • Industrial Society and Its Future (5/10 inherently biased but I read it for research purposes)
  • The Merchant of Venice (4/10 jews and venetians aren't really my thing)
  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar (8/10 somewhat lacking but good story overall)
  • Deaf Republic (6.5/10 poetry collection)
  • Never Let Me Go (7/10 invokes thoughts about ethics and morality)
  • The Hobbit (9/10 classic)
  • How to Win Friends and Influence People (7.5/10 good informative read)
  • The Giver (8/10 classic)

And possibly others that I have missed.

That is not something anyone should ever have to thank me for, but thank you nonetheless! :D

This is great Dreoxx. You seem like you're a pretty down to Earth person and I'm glad to see my fellow vlr users looking out for each other with insightful and meaningful posts like these. Good job and I hope you have a fantastic year coming up!

posted 9 months ago

I don't see a reason to bring this up. Everyone makes mistakes and regardless of whether or not they've changed, the past is the past and unless he commits an inappropriate action in the present, I see no reason to shed any negative light on him.

I have four puppies in my bedroom, and while 2 of them have guaranteed homes, we might end up with 1 without. Weimaraners btw.
