I feel like I need to add some further thoughts on this match. FPX absolutely clowned on RA. I feel like the amount of improvement FPX has made in the past month or two has been staggering. In this series, compared to FPX, RA looked like a field of cows on laxatives. Well played FPX! The entire team was a treat to watch and I look forward to their match against WBG/BLG.

FPX can probably speak english

You're right. In terms of international experience, ASE does in fact possess the advantage, but what I meant by "experienced" was how TYLOO has a lot of veterans (ICEKING, Abo, etc) with more experience than some of the individuals on ASE. But you make a fair point and I should've considered it. Thank you!

I don't know how to predict the outcome of this match. Although TYLOO got smoked to charred bacon against ASE, TE didn't do much better against EDG (except for Lotus). So for this series prediction, I'm just going to decide based off stats. Lets start with overall ranking. TYLOO is currently ranked 5th, while TE is ranked... 6th? Oh man that really doesn't say anything at all, my bad. When it comes to form though, if we look at the last five matches played, TYLOO has a record of 2W3L while TE has a record of 3W2L. Although I still don't know what score to predict for this one, I think I can confidently say that it could be a 2-1 for either sides.

BLG should clean this series up pretty swiftly, I'm not expecting too much from WBG, although I acknowledge that they have very competent players. They stumped me with their 0-2 loss against RA but impressed me with their hard-fought victory against RNG. Regardless of WBG's recent achievements, I simply don't think it stacks up against BLG's impressive VCT résumé. 2-0 BLG victory, whzy masterclass.

Quite the banger matchup we have here. RA is a team that has always surpassed my expecations, making an absolute circus of my previous RNG and WBG predictions. However, I'd like to believe that FPX has reviewed their Champions group stage loss and has made some improvements (especially with the signing of Autumn). Autumn is a reputable top-class player and I can't wait to see how he plays in NathanD and BerLin's system.

To be honest, I'm not expecting an easy 2-0 for EDG. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that ASE has picked up quite the fiery form in the past few matches and may possibly give Kangkang and his crew a run for their money. Then again, EDG played quite well against TE, reinforcing their no.1 reputation and showing that they are still the top team we've come to love and support. Anyways, my conclusion is that EDG might 2-0, but ASE has been convincing enough for me to consider a 2-1 EDG win.

Well, I'd be damned. I was wrong! To be honest, I made my initial comment without thinking too much about the actual form of TYLOO. Tbh I think they were playing like garden gnomes on sleeping pills, but ASE executed everything very well, so I can't really blame them. Tough for TYLOO but they can still go on a lower-bracket run.

I appreciate it! I just really love CN Val

TYLOO should win this. While ASE has done well to get to playoffs, I just don't think they have what it takes to go against a much more experienced team like TYLOO. (I don't have much to say this time...)

I think that while TE showed glimpses of excellence in their match against Nova and NWG, it will be very tough to do the same against EDG. EDG is a well-rounded team that has international experience and world-class players. Hard match for TE to win. Good luck in the lowers.

That was a great series! Both teams were competitive, but WBG got the better this time around. I expected a close, 2-1 sort of exchange between the two, and while RNG showed many bright moments with plays from SWERL and xiaonuo, WBG reminded them that there is a gap between 7 and 11.

While WBG has had history of ranking above RNG, I think it is very possible that RNG makes playoff by winning the series. Swerl looked really good in his match against IMAY so I think he will play a big part in helping RNG get the win. Regardless, WBG is not to be underestimated, and this match will definitely not be a free match for either sides.

I did not expect TE to win. Well played TE!

I think TE played alright against NOVA. It wasn't a special performance, but they got the win and I think the series could be generalized as "alright." However, NWG lost to ASE in quite the deflating manner. Despite this, I think NWG has a chance to win this series. While I have faith in TE's consistency as the "better" team, I think NWG could make a statement by beating China's no. 6.

I think WBG has a good chance of winning this series. They've looked better than IMAY in general and I think that'll play a big part in the match.

Nova looked alright against ASE in the first half of the first map. I don't really have any expectations from TE after that screamer of a match against NWG. I think Nova's the better team and they should be winning this series.

Then how come it was such a close match?

Get the name right first. What they really need is experience playing international teams.

EMEA with 0 teams in upper is a surprise for sure, because Fnatic, but I don't think anyone really have any expectations for the Cn teams: aside from EDG, it's FPX and BLG's first major international tournament, so it makes sense that they kind of falter.
