it doesn't really matter which teams make ascension in br/latam because as far as I know, all the good latam/br players are signed and that's not the case for NA. i could be wrong and maybe some LATAM/BR team just ends up winning it all but I highly doubt it

Shao at Copenhagen was definitely higher than Sacy 2022 Champions. I forgot the exact stat but it was something super crazy like Shao won a third of the 80+ clutch situations he was put in. To win that many clutches with a sample size that big is absurd

trent posted some very respectable stats for a 3-0 loss where his teammates were underperforming. its easy to look good when you're winning. when you're losing (guard at reykjavik and LCQ grand finals and 100t at Istanbul), then players look bad. there's just one fact. trent at least had 2 good tournaments while Derrek had 1 good tournament in 2022.
100T is definitely not trash lol they are currently the best team in NA, my first comment was a joke because that match was hilarious. 100T's LCQ roster iteration and their franchising roster are respectable and great teams. I just don't like them personally because I find some of their players absurdly overrated (specifically Asuna and Derrek)

xeppaa is not better at sova or fade, he's better at skye because he's a flex player. trent is a better recon initiator. derrek has not proven anything for him to be a better initiator than trent. crashies I agree he is better.

The Guard broke an entire roster in stage 1. Their loss to 100T at LCQ was bad but its not nearly on the level of 100T's loss to The Guard in Stage 1

Marved ace vs The Guard map 3. People like to rewrite history as if The Guard got completely shit on at Reykjavik but they were 2 rounds away from beating Optic. This round started The Guard’s choke. If Marved didn’t ace then The Guard might’ve not just beaten Optic, they could’ve even placed top 4 maybe.
All I did was bring up two players who play the same role as trent, that's why I brought up BcJ. It wasn't out of nowhere.
Also, Derrek won 2/24 clutches at Champions 2022 for an 8% clutch rate. Thats 4x lower than his LCQ clutch rate. Clutching up sometimes on LAN is a bit of an overstatement in my opinion. You're a bit afraid to accept that Derrek flopped on LAN just like trent.
