tenz got me on the train, now im sen for life
Dont call chamber a traditional senti, it plays nothing like a KJ or cypher. The dude never lurked or played it in the way a trad way. He op'd every round he could
No more redgar tps? :(
Thats a good shout. What team actually needs a full time senti? First time senti on top of that
sen dominated both edg and th on haven with neon, new meta
A insane drive to win maybe? Tenz said something about stumbling into pro play and wanted to be a CC first
The one who got me into Val retired, I imagine this what it would feel like when Lebron retires. Bittersweet, sad its gone but happy it happened
I think when hit by a stun, your crosshair vanishes but that might be too strong in lower elos compared to pro play
They peaked to beat all the other teams and now have come back down to earth. I want to believe that the other teams would've done better but still credit to TSM so far
TSM just hit their peak at the perfect moment
Not saying they'd be doing better than TSM bc obv they lost to them but would've been cool to see them on lan.
I wonder why they switched it from groups to round robin, I liked last years format where it was groups for seeding and then into double elim bracket.
He was a chamber merchant too if im not mistaken
Obviously, as a coach, you'd want roles as consistent as possible, but there aren't too many GREAT recon initiator mains, outside of verno and brawk (both are very hot commodities and not including imports) and narrate can also play fade/gekko so that helps with raze maps like lotus and sunset
woah relax. The nrg and g2, I think are good 5s. but the sen one was just some random shii like bringing in potter as HC with jaw. In all seriousness, the only move for sen to replace sacy, imo is narrate.
This is one that i genuinely think would work, G2 have a similar playstyle to fnatic imo. Slow, midrounding
Sen:
Duelist: Jaw
Initiator: Zekken
Flex: Zellsis
Senti: Johnqt
Controller: Tenz
NRG:
Duelist: Mada
Initiator: Verno
Flex: Ethan
Senti: FNS
Controller: s0m
G2:
Duelist: Derke
Initiator: Trent
Flex: Jonah
Senti: leaf
Controller: valyn
I was bored
That Rb 4k to secure ot is etched into my brain
That furia roster had something going for them
LOL I just realized, NAVI/FPX has just played some banger games. Can't forget the FPX vs PRX Copenhagen either
Favorite vct match?
Mine is 2022 Champs, FPX vs DRX upper quarterfinals
Close 2nd is 2023 Masters Tokyo, EDG vs NAVI
Ryan higa started streaming it
you weren't kidding, these guys are fcking insane, turkey on the comeup
The meta this year was just heavy on the site hits instead of a "defaulty" meta like with chamber in 2022 or solo skye in 2023. Because there was so much util, every team just played retake like sunset a and b, haven a, bind b.
Even "worse" teams can pull off wins because it became a more brawly game instead of strategic imo
I'm not super great with computers but from my research, it seems like a motherboard compatibility thing with W11 and bios.
I've been happier these past couple months, maybe there is a correlation
Tried that, but it's whatever at this point. I'll find a different game
My computer updated to W11 and it seems that Valorant requires to turn on the secure boot option in the bios to be able to play. Whenever I turn on the boot secure, my computer just doesn’t work anymore, had to reset my bios to get my computer working again. Haven't played in a couple months, thought I run some games, I guess not anymore.
People clown on him for only vibes but he does alot for the team. Heavy mid-rounder, flexes to every role, also keeping the squad involved. The pressure just got to him the last map, especially with the very slow start and the tilter on icebox (more times than not a team would close out a 7-5 going into atk half)
agreed, I think keep the roster, bring in another analyst. Just hammer away at the off season
imo g2 are the same as th, where they don't rely on a heavy fragging duelist. miniboo and icy are basically the same. If both entry, the rest of the team will trade
if only they stayed together, would've been nice to see what they could've done on breeze, sunset and abyss
sen - their strategic depth was a bigger issue than their fragging and if you want, you can spend the entire off-season working on mechanics. This was also johnqt's first time IGLing at the international level so let him keep the team he's comfortable with
geng - I know people clown on Lakia but we don't know what he brings to the team outside of what we see. Heavy mid-rounder? Analytics? They have gotten this far, why change it? Run it back on more year.
PRX - controversial take, let jinggg be full time duelist (jett, raze, phoenix, neon). PRX has always played behind jing's pace, if he goes, they go and 'something' was never really a hard entry especially this year. Let 'something' play more of the flex where he runs in second
100t - lots say cut asuna but his problems are fixable. Similar to old tenz, overheating and playing alone is his biggest problem. Look now, no one is saying cut tenz
G2 - icy has been very good for this squad, if you remove his yoru stats, its not bad and his raze was great all year round
There is a saying "Let people do what they need to do to make them happy and do what you need to do to make you happy". Unless you're them, trying to understand is pointless
7-5 going into atk side icebox gave them too much confidence and allowed TH to get super comfortable
I think if a team wins champs, they auto have the best year, no?
FNC won 2 events and all people talk about was EG champs run
that's literally every team,
PRX grouped - party, assific
FNC - party, memea
G2 - Nearest airport
