We don't really know what exactly happened or how bad/mild it was, but him and steel disagreed on some undisclosed issue which led to them parting ways. Then the same thing happened between him and Frost (100T head coach at the time) which led to them eventually parting ways with Hector and nitr0 both.
I would prefer not hearing about leaks at all than hear them from Grge gdes 🗿
As much as we miss him, it's not happening after how it ended between him and 100T the last time

There's a difference between stagnation in gameplay and stagnation in winners. Fnatic might be winning 3 in a row but their playstyle is never stagnant. They come up with so much creative stuff and they keep adding new layers on top of what they have already. And this in turn forces other teams to level up faster
None honestly. The individual performances do not matter at all in my eyes. In my eyes the problem with 100T was that they were trying too hard to cook up new stuff on their own instead of just playing the meta, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it's so hard to make something new work. They already had a weak map pool but instead of using offtime to bolster the existing meta they decide to go for things like asuna on yoru instead of raze, cryo on raze instead of jett, the gekko tech, the cryo omen, the omen-harbor comps, blah blah blah so much more
And secondly they were trying to force coordination they didn't have, which led to every player losing confidence. You can see it in their gameplay everyone was just scared to take fights.
I'd just make sure Mikes has the best help he can possibly get with an assistant coach and an analyst and just give them more time in the oven.
How so. Franchise didn't exist for 2 years but the level of gameplay was stagnant for almost a year. Watch back matches from any masters 2022 or 2021 event you'll see a stark difference if you've followed valorant in 2023. Franchise brought the top players that were fragmented across many teams together. Without franchise you wouldn't see leo, chronicle, derke and alfa on the same team
Better in the long run. Level of gameplay has never been higher, audiences are able to develop long term fanbases with franchised teams rather than having to support a new team/player each open qualifier, steadier viewership. Tier 2 will get fixed soon enough
Idk why you think 1 player can fix an entire team lol that's like a newbie take. Leo and Sayf were on Guild but they never won jack shit. Only further proof that individuals mean nothing without proper coaching, structure and a deep stratbook

teams at lcq 2022 were the top teams in the region at the time. That quite literally WAS the tier 1 at the time bcoz franchise didn't exist.
Plus the whole team has done poorly this year, 1 player can't be deemed responsible for it all. Heck they could have replaced derrek with Leo and they'd still have lost. So even though derrek wasn't in peak form, he wasn't the reason for 100T's bad performance. It's much deeper than individual players. It's a structure issue. Look at sentinels they had the best players at every single role but still fell hard. So it's not about the individuals

There is no need to replace derrek, just need him to get out of his long slump. He's an insane player with great mechanics and great utility
But we do need more help with coaching. Idk how much influence Vapen was able to have in the short time, but it wasn't much.
