I dont think masters is a major, masters is like IEMs from CS while champs are the best of the best and the final event like Majors in CS or Worlds in LoL. If you consider Masters as a major, then you are severely underinformed about professional esports scene or just coping.

all that "building" a team to kick exalt before split 2 and then kick steel for the 2nd half of split 2 while bringing in washed players instead of new talent from tier 3, all this while bringing exalt back after the damage has already been done. Ludwig and charlie actually had discussed after Moist lost a couple important games in split 1 BUT they were not impulsive and stuck through but ludwig said he started attending their scrims and team meetings which I can guarantee you helped their morale. This along with full trust they worked hard for split 2 and kept improving. They could've easily scrapped some players who underperformed in split 1 BUT they didnt, like toast did.

Riot has to quickly introduce relegation/promotion (which even the valve/CS are unable to do it), that would help the health of the game so much. I think they are just waiting for some stability but I think they can start it next year since there is already an hierarchy of tier2/3 teams in all regions.

I've noticed at the end of these fights, he always points out that they're not getting paid to play while he is and "they love to be in my shoes, thats why they hate me". have you followed the proscene in the past 5 years? Every map starts the same with molly/smoke/grenade lineups, same thing repeats in the last 30 seconds (if by then both sides dont die), same fights taking place in same areas. It just depends on who hits the shot THAT round. I dont want to simplify it as just aim-duels BUT there are certain metas already in place on how certain maps should be played.

It is the reason valve released CS2 and completely changed the smoke physics because the meta got too stale. Imagine changing physics of a game, thats how stale the game has become. Even in competitive, if you dont throw a grenade stack with a lineup, you will get flamed while you can throw slightly different smokes (at this stage of the game 2 years in) without getting flamed. strats in CS are definitely more stale than valorant right now.

The valorant devs take reddit complaints seriously more than VLR, unless they make a fuss, we are not getting any changes or bugs that we identify. Take for example, latest fade icon, it looks awful but there is far less outcry about it on there than here and it stays on.
