I think that there isn't as much of a difference between (top) GC teams and t2, sr and liquid both almost qualed for challengers this year. It comes down to depth of strategy, which GC just doesn't have as much of. It's not actually a delusional take to say that flor could get play well in t1; given some time to mesh and not overheat as much she probably diffs 35% of t1 duelists.

Individuals seek to further their own utility. Players are just trying to make money. If the org is willing to drop 200 grand for a glorified ascendent 3, who are we to stop them? Why does this site label everyone performing slightly poorly as paycheck stealers?

Why is this site filled with so much hate for players? Take yay - the guy isn't playing phenomenal, but people have been hating on the guy for 2 years at this point. 300 reply y0y chain, and you can find a message in every other hating on him. And it's not just him: dephh, boaster, ScreaM, Vanity, Asuna, FNS, and TenZ have faced intense hatred from thousands of viewers. I understand being a fan of a team and being frustrated that they are failing, but it is truly another level of hating to follow the games of a man from c9 to dsg to apac (na t1 to na t2 to apac t1) and still find enjoyment in hating on his (admittedly abysmal) 6/19 viper.

tl;dr: can we as a site hate less on these players and orgs who are just trying to get their bag? If you are frustrated with the performance of your org to the point where you insult their every decision, don't be a fan! Being a fan should mean that you support your team regardless of their success and that you are positive member of their community.

I realize as I write this that this site is more braindead than a morgue but I have hope for vlr.gg users!!!

Riot absolutely is in it for the money and does whatever they want with the brackets. They will do what they want to get viewership and we should just deal with it and watch. If you support your team, you should be happy with how they play and support them and not whine about format. Yeah, the format sucks, but throwing around stuff like "rigged from the start" and "fuck sen, go g2" is unnecessary and inflamatory.
