fnatic didnt look like last year dont lie to yourself
nah riens looked incredible today as well as miniboo
pati is the best fit we have seen but we havent seen wo0t and also he was the #1 prospect last year so I wouldnt be surprised if he is just better in almost every way
back when sliggy was coach, he thought it was straight up rigged at points and asked the admins and they had videos of proof of it being random, I imagine they still have that if the coaches ask for it, just looks bad on stream and they shouldnt have done it
will be fucking insane maybe biggest game of the whole tournament
banger, KC 2-1 SEN
it looks stupid but apparently they have actual footage of them being random according the sliggy
vlr is shitting the bed after the game lmao
damn patitek played so well people keep forgetting he is their sub
surely that sort of thing has never happened to an NA team before
As #1 NA hater, that game was fire and no matter who won it im glad i watched it

top 0.1% incoming

but in winter i drink a lot of energy drinks because im a fat bastard so like maybe 1L a day

still gotta choose between narrate and farteen if that happens
people probably trialed him as duelist and didnt check his flex, engh always makes teams out of duelists so he fit super well into his system
TenZ had huge issues with going either all in or not at all and it tended to lose them quite a few rounds but it is something that can be fixed pretty easily with some focus put onto it by his coaches. That was addressed and now he actually has incredible timing especially with flashes. Obviously Sideshow isn't the reason for it being fixed, TenZ probably has never watched the video but it was a good criticism to make and his coaches also noticed it, fixed it and improved it massively.
imo I agree with you the video was made because he wanted TenZ to be better and to not fail, literally the opposite
If you look back at the TH vs KC opening day game, you can see the confidence from TH carrying them with Boo and MiniBoo. Confidence is one of the most underacknowledged aspects and is massive to focus on
i wont be surprised if i see one on Asuna some time, especially his comms because they are something else but also, imo, Asuna has kind of met his potential already
most likely he was frustrated seeing TenZ making easily fixable mistakes and made the video, got so much hate that he didn't want to make another one
Sideshow was right with all his criticisms and now that TenZ has ironed his flaws out more, he looks much much better and is actually playing up to his poterntial. Sideshow didn't deserve that much hate for the video when he was almost 100% correct
if thats what he wanted them good for him, wish he didnt leave by being forced out and staining his image tho
always feel like i see people getting banned in challengers east surge so would have to say them
nobody is actually toxic but the biggest shit talker is probably ardiis
literally any famous hiko clip but this one sticks out
he gotta pull himself together and get back to casting i miss those casts
monyet just needs time, everyone needs to stop trying to c9 everyones roster
plus i want to see buzz on a KR team bcz from what I know he is very vocal and doing that on a international team is way harder and would impact his performance
KC but I dont mind if Gen.G or TH win because their style is super fun to watch
the grind for radiant has been the longest one for me, taking me over a year (💀) but thats because I dont play enough
For people hardstuck, why do you think you're hardstuck?
For example, teammates, personal aim, personal game sense etc.
dont pick skye on haven against sentinels mistic it wont end well
sens does not matter as long as you are comfortable on it, look at wippie's sens and it shows you can literally play whatever you want
first biggest things are finding a sitting position youre confortable in, finding a mouse grip thats comfortable for you and finding a sens
you can tweak the sens around for a couple days but when it feels ok, dont change it again because its just time to build muscle memory
most improvement in valorant is crosshair placement and game knowledge, you dont need to practice your aim much to get better at valorant, I personally have never launched aimlabs or anything like it and I dont really believe that it is the most efficient way to improve. I just played 1v1s from CS when I was learning that game and it made my crosshair placement very good which carried me to FaceIT lvl 10 (immortal in valorant ranks). For valorant, just plays tonnes of deathmatch and youll get the same result and remember to take regular breaks, if you feel like youre not locked in anymore take a little break then come back (muscle memory is actually built in the time you are not doing something)
i personally like the though of forcing your players to play their comfortable roles, looking at qraxs especially. Having him on kay/o all the time no matter what game him an insane level of comfort and consistency but can also see why people wouldnt like it
hes great at using his util for his teammates, kind of becoming his strength especially with omen as well but imo he has bad flash timings and makes bad decisions when flashing for himself, its kinda why i want sentinels to try and force the omen on as many map as possible because omen kit is kinda perfect for tenz
tbf it wasnt because he was playing kay/o they were competitive, he just aim diffed them in 1v1s couldve done that on any agent
nukkye said in an interview he didnt like playing duelist and much prefers the sentinel role he ended up playing
honey chili peking duck is an honourable mention of mine holy fuck its so good
saw someone talking about how they like bagels and now I wanna know what everyones favourite food is that they eat super often
for me, its irish soda bread especially toasted with a little bit of butter and I eat it every morning as my breakfast
the only thing i really know about this is that biological males are biologically slightly quicker in most aspects (reaction time ~10/20ms faster, movement is quicker and can be kept at top speeds for longer etc)
so there is technically an advantage but it isnt much
Valorant year 1 franchising wasn't as big of a mess as everyone thought it was going to be. This year isn't going to be good with the huge off season again but hopefully, from year 3 onwards, the franchising thing will start to work and make sense. If Val esports was set up for failure, that would be reflected in viewership but instead the viewership is steadily increasing (especially APAC/China).
On the other hand, Valve fucked up with CS2 and that comes from someone who has been playing CS since 2014 (faceit lvl 10, peak was about 2350 elo). The game launched bad, had bad reception, pros complained and now (for me and other people here have also mentioned this) CS doesn't feel as exciting. The big pros are all losing out on making majors, its only really EU that challenges at the majors, there's no crazy storylines. The only games don't feel hype anymore and now I only watch Team Spirit games because they have the only real talent that is playing wildly different which is fun to watch. But that is probably just me finally losing my spark for CS.
I don't want to see either game die out and it doesn't look like it's gonna happen anytime soon, but I also feel like CS has peaked already and won't reach those numbers again while Valorant still hasn't peaked and could continue on to be bigger than what it is today in terms of esports.
