dephh is the IGL, he's played initiator recently but used to play a lot of cypher, kj and astra back in the day so they have the option if chamber falls off the meta.

well track and field games are designed specifically to showcase speed and strength, so I don't think you're wrong in that sense, but...
I don't think speed and strength are the only thing that would make a great athlete. There's practically no showcase of creativity that sports like football (the real one) or basketball have. Stuff that someone like Messi does in the pitch is hard to measure on any speed/strength statistic. They also generally have very little teamwork and communication needed. Another fundamental aspect that forms a great athlete imo.
Finally I also disagree with your statement, "in track and field the entire repertoire of sports and events is so broad you can appeal to any audience."
I've never ever had any interest to watch track and field sports personally, but I don't think they appeal to "any audience" in any way close other sports that bring so much passion to the scene.

the talented being wasted is also on the players themselves, sentinels was just an enabler. No other team did what the team did for so long while getting away with it. No scrims for a long time, very few scrims, signing Rawkus as coach after being over a year without a coach, bringing in shroud, etc. Sentinels allowed them to do stuff their way, but the players were very much happy with the freedom until they weren't.

thats 2-3 duelists, 2 smokes players and half of an igl
that's interesting. It could perfectly be either of them since roles make sense
