Ok, so apparently lots of SHITMEA fans believe I am not cut out for the big leagues. Firstly, your entire region wipes my ass. Second, I am genuinely better than a lot of people in my rank. They whiff a lot but I don't.
I genuinely believe I am better than some of those crowned as the best in the world. Yay is a one trick, who I could out aim with a 20 second warm up. Derke, Ardiis, etc. all the same. The only reason big T1 teams don't look at me is because of my rank. I could be within the top 10 of radiants but for some reason I keep getting 5 stack smurfs on the opposing team, meanwhile my team is pure trash. None the less, I will be on stage by April. And at the next masters/champs, I will be on the team with the most XSET players to fully eliminate any europeans in the tournament

this forum has been in dire need of a STATS 2.0 tbf

1 that is rumored about, likely more. Just take a look at the ranking section of vlr, there are barely 5 teams there. They simply won't be able to field multiple good rosters, it doesn't make sense from a competitive perspective nor from a fanbase/viewership perspective. Korea was always good in LoL and Overwatch, meanwhile in Valorant there is DRX and then... https://www.vlr.gg/event/1083/champions-tour-east-asia-last-chance-qualifier/main-event
I'm sure it's gonna be more than likely, Riot is probably just looking at those KR orgs since most of the other orgs are not as good financially or aren't close to rito

"Some of the league candidates have also been said to shift their focus on the country they will base their roster from, with one of the LCK orgs being rumored to lean towards a Japanese roster. Talon Esports and Global Esports are also said to keep their APAC core, but may become multi-regional rosters. "

5 korean orgs
not 5 korean rosters

fpx are probably the team with most firepower asides from ange1 tho (even ange1 has good aim compared to other igls)

They are korean orgs, there's simply no way they will be all korean rosters

he was bang average the last serious tournament he played, 203 acs, 67%kast, 0.11 fkpr... Even with how bad tenz was last challengers, he was still better

my guess is that their financials aren't good enough because I can't find another explanation, other than no relation with riot and maybe lack of content output, but I doubt it's that

Whats wrong with that statement? A sentinels and opper role is of course going to be less risky than the entry duelist

Tenz doesnt even play entry anymore💀

"yay puts up like really, really good statistics all the time" that sounds very much like the final bit.

why would it depend solely on Victor?

He never said it depends solely on victor

posted about 2 years ago

that's the whole point of valorant, do you think yay's getting 300 acs playing 1v5? Of course he's getting so many kills because his teammates play around his op since he's just that consistent. Not only victor, but the whole team. The problem is that for some reason you're viewing as an insult to yay which it literally isn't. Chamber by itself can't do anything but dry peek and hold angles, if you watch optic matches you constantly see yay getting frags thanks to crashies flashes or victor throwing himself into the site.

Also the final part of your post "and tacitly explain why he (Tenz) is better than Yay." Is completely false, there's not even a hint of this in his statement.

posted about 2 years ago

Hes not wrong, yay will get you kills no matter what, hes always online, so the deciding factor in optics games usually comes down to how much the other ones are feeling it, especially victor who has such an important role in making space. I swear there was a thread saying exactly this a few days ago and everyone agreed

posted about 2 years ago

there's a fundamental problem when comparing 2-3 teams against only one, and then extending that to the whole region. You could either compare the top korean team (DRX) against the top korean team (PRX), but comparing DRX against the aggregate of all apac teams isn't fair since almost all regions are very top heavy, especially korea

I'd take meddo over mixwell in g2's core, he was their most consistent player in lcq. Regardless, they're probably getting rid of both and rebuilding
