BBL 1-2 NRG + they’re usually comfortable against EMEA teams
sen 2021 and sen 2024 are completely different teams
ethan, sacy and technically tenz
Is lar0k the only one that’s not a fraud? Loita is up there
i agree m8 are favs but not by that much, ns are familiar with them since they’ve scrimmed them heading into santiago so the matchup could go in their favor
M8s are technically not an ascension team as they took up the main franchising slot after KOI got removed. Starxo would join sacy as the second ever player to win champions and masters
BBL is technically an ascension team
G2 never placed top 6 at an international
Over FNC? easily and it’s not even CLOSE
Everyone thinks G2 are the weakest team coming out of the swiss stage, nobody has them as the favorites lol
the players aren’t even the issue on that team
NS players especially RB have more experience in Tier 1 so if any first seed will escape the international nerves it’s definitely them
Not saying that they won’t because they definitely could, but imo it’s more likely that the other 3 first seeds struggle
there’s people unironically saying M8 is a tier below BBL, what I said is tame
NS could have stage fright but not BBL?
I’m all for the excuse by why exclude BBL when they’ve never played in tier 1 unlike NS?
the stars aligned in bangkok only for stax to take it away
name value aside, ns and m8 also inspire more confidence in my eyes but if they can beat those then maybe they can win
got lucky that this meta fits their roster, the moment it goes to anything else they will likely struggle + they’re likely to not make top 4 at a masters for the first time since shanghai
name value aside they’re probably not the best team in their side of the bracket lol
their split wasn’t even all that tbf the only good win they had on that map was over t1
so they beat PCF, two teams that placed in the top 5 and a team that made santiago playoffs
all except PCF (who had the potential to do some damage until Leader took a break) are good teams + BBL looked impressive in their wins even the sweaty game vs M8s
lar0k: better wo0t
lovers rock: one of the best scope users
loita: underrated smokes demon
crewen: solid role player (albeit he’s had a rough individual performance this kickoff)
rose:
for a team that went from premier to masters they are fundamentally sound and are as good as those big names you mentioned, the only thing that’s holding them back is experience
M8s performance in swiss is hard to gauge since they beat EDG and TL both of whom had questionable performances.
NRG beat a chinese team and TL as well, doesn’t really mean much.
nah bbl are slightly better
agreed, loita lar0k and lovers rock can’t do all the heavy lifting
on the bright side he’s better than n4rrate!
they still haven’t decided on their fifth so
just because tenz is a big name doesn’t mean he’s an instant lock, plus isn’t he going to santiago for watch parties?
Liquid -wayne +icy
free playoffs every international
no he’s always respected the players
what’s with the cortezia disrespect?
