TLN vs RRQ about to be the best pacific game
GENG as an org is cursed when it comes to worlds/champions
exactly it’s always the underdogs that win
my prediction is that a CN team will make another run
pacific - PRX, RRQ (would put T1 but they feel like dark horses)
emea - FNC, TL, TH
china - XLG, BLG (need EDG to make top 2 for me to have any belief, dark horses also)
americas - G2, SEN
RRQ with like 2 weeks of prep is really scary I hope talon can tame that
he aint tryna discredit crazy guy or anything, just giving crws the respect he deserves because he’s easily the most valuable player on talon and under appreciated
it’s just more clear to see what impact crws brings especially with their roster being full thai yet despite having a foreign coaching staff having to be the translator for the team, make up strats with jovi. fr0st talks about him and his impact on the team a LOT which i don’t think i seen any other coach or player do
riens is a better gekko, trent is a better tejo, both are just as good on sova
overall this year trent has been better but if we are talking about RN, riens has been impressive and getting better
i don’t like th but riens is a pretty chill guy
they’re still in contention but they need a lot of things to go right
100T should lean into chamber comps more imo, that’s the best case scenario with their current roster
It also doesn’t help that BBL has struggled to beat liquid and th every time
GX is very beatable and while TL has looked very good, they aren’t untouchable just like every other team. I’m not saying they’ll beat TL because I don’t think they will but realistically they have better odds than BBL who has to go through FNC and TH
on a run, they can qual to champs through points but it’s very difficult
XLG had roster issues leading up to toronto, this time they should be with their actual 5
i’m willing to give RRQ another chance, they earned their spot at champs unlike MIBR and there’s no big meta change unlike toronto
yeah unless they actually win their region i wouldn’t be so confident in having them as champs favorites
i know no one cares about regional trophies, but to be 17-0 in regular season matches since wo0ts inclusion and to not have a regional trophy to show for it is crazy
they got 3rd in kickoff but only won 26 rounds in 5 maps vs vitality and liquid
they looked promising in stage 1 and did horrible in toronto
they got shit on by nrg in the opening match, scraped by tec and went on a run. they are inconsistent before reaching finals
both teams used their cypher ults at the same time
it wasn’t just 1 game though, they lost out on toronto like this. had they closed out a lead vs wolves or g2 they would have been in champions over drx at the very least by now
that’s like saying prx wouldn’t have won toronto if they didnt face GENG in playoffs
geng literally threw a 10-1 lead with a 4v2 on top of it…
yeah LCQ also had good stories which definitely made it fun
TLN RRQ PRX yeah but GENG in their current state hasn’t fixed their issues from toronto so they’re not better
none of this t1 snaking into champs well being the 5-6 best team in the region.
bro they made champs by making top 4 in their region, they aren’t the best example of this otherwise you have a good point with nearly everything else. full regular season split was fun and it would prevent visa issues from fucking up brazilian teams imo
idk about all that man, RRQ with enough rest time will give TLN a hard match. Don’t think it’s easy just because there’s a two week break for both teams, TLN themselves would rather face T1 who they’ve faced a few times and are comfortable against their style
i felt that way when they placed NRG but the entire team stepped up vs KRU and 100T
NRG would still make it even if you have SEN
if you have G2 and LEV in the top 2, you would need NRG to get third place

TH EDG rematch would be insane
termi is really good with finding short term success i’ll give him that but for some reason, he HAS to change things up every time there’s a good chance they make it somewhere, he ends up throwing his chances away
He won kickoff and then forced yoru on every map in bangkok resulting him in getting eliminated
if they win vs C9 they have to face SEN the next game, chances are slim unless they do an insane lowers run
